Trump proposes that Gazans be removed from Gaza and relocated somewhere else. His rational is that if they stay in Gaza there will only be suffering and death for them. Trump also proposes that the USA take control of that situation, moving the Gazans, building them a home, and redeveloping the Gaza strip.
I can't say I was not shocked upon reading this. After giving it some thought, I can't say Trump is wrong. There is no way Palestinians and Israelis can live either with each other or side by side. They will continue to provoke each other until one side destroys the other. That's been the end game since the late 1940s.
But why does the USA have to be involved? Why do we have to pay for it? There are over a billion people in the Muslim world, and while they are of many tribes, there are enough sympathetic to the Palestinians to fund their relocation for the sake of peace.
If President Trump can see this so clearly for the Palestinians, why can he not see it for Africans living in America? I'd rather American wealth be spent on our own intractable problems rather than those of Israel. Why not build Black homelands in Africa and the Caribbean and even central America? America first, Mr. Trump.
