No, it's not. Two weeks ago it was fucking frigid as hell outside, so cold that beneath the snow there was 5" of ice everywhere. At night you could not be outside for more than 10 minutes at a time in some cases. I have a wood burning stove and a massive 16' wood rack next to my house. I could barely bring in more logs I because there was too much ice on the back porch all in front of the 16' wood rack. Too dangerous to be hauling 20 pounds of firewood per trip walking over thick ice. Luckily I had enough indoors to last the rest of the night (with a nearly-closed bottom vent to keep it burning sloooooowly.
