It's not quite what people think. You retain clearance so you can view materials you saw while you were a part of the govt. in, e.g., a congressional testimony. You do NOT get to see NEW intel.

 

If Rand Paul & Trump are pushing this, there's something much bigger going on that requires them to revoke their access to "re-see" documents that they've already seen. My assumption is they are documents that they had access to but never viewed at the time… and that makes you wonder WHY they didn't view them then…

Yes and no. You have no access if you're no longer in the govt. There is no reason for you to see anything NEW. If you are being fed info from a source inside the deep state, that's a violation of other laws.
