If you only heard his voice and went by the tone and quality of it, you might be fooled by him. If you actually hear what he says and find out that he's lying through his teeth, you quickly understand that he's a snake.

I always wondered why the high-tailed it out of Ashland / Framingham, and I do have suspicions though all information about them seems scrubbed. You can't even find the name of the company his father worked at.

if they were wise they saved their money, they have a 401K. They own their homes. If they were fools and have a lot of debt, they'll figure it out.
they get what they made everyone else get.
they created the situation for everyone else, now they can live in what they demanded of everyone else.
admittedly a lot of them were of the school of 'I need to pay my bills' and just looked the other way. they didn't create the system, but they didn't do much to reform it either.
