I've seen turkeys turned from live animals to turkey twizzlers and dinosaur shapes in three hours. I didn't sleep for days after that and the people that worked there had the thousand-yard stare.
Turkey twizzlers contain sinew, tendon, gristle and not much actual turkey meat. It's liquidized in large vats with high-speed chopping blades.
