Chicken tenders were once strips of chicken breast - now they are formed meat.
Formed meat is what people call the "pink slime" – meat dissolved off the carcass with a acid hosing and chemically reconstituted in giant 3D printers the make simulated "formed meats" ie "real turkey breast" at supermarket deli counters.
It's what puppets do, repeat the words they are given upstream, as if those words were their own.
There were two sets of gods in Sumer, the "Annunaki" (Ea, Enlil, Ianna and company) and the Igigi, who rebelled at being forced to do labor.
The Igigi disappeared. Anon wonders what happened to the Igigi. No one knows. It is not in the Sumerian records we have - though it might have been in the Iraqi National Museum before it was comprehensively looted by multiple proxies.
"Made the Igigi bear the workload.
The gods had to dig out canals,
Had to clear channels, the lifelines of the land,
The Igigi had to dig out canals,
Had to clear channels, the lifelines of the land.
The gods dug out the Tigris river (bed)
They were counting the years of loads.
For 3,6oo years they bore the excess,
Hard work, night and day.
They groaned and blamed each other,
Grumbled over the masses of excavated soil:
‘Let us confront our [ ] the chamberlain,
And get him to relieve us of our hard work!"

No race, no people has ever been free from slavery, either as slave or as master. Every race and every people ever enslaved became at every opportunity enslavers themselves:
Greek enslaved by Greek in the time of Aristotle, black enslaved by black since time immemorial in Africa and in the 19'th century, the American south. Slavery was never predicated on race except as circumstances rendered it. Many of the vast number of slaves of ancient Rome were fair skinned, fair haired Germans and Anglo Saxons.
The universal truth of slavery, that it has been throughout history one of the defining manifestations of human nature, has been suppressed both by history and by that nature.
The enduring myth that slavery was imposed on Africa by outside forces, that it was introduced by the Portuguese in 1444, is belied by the fact that slavery and the slave trade were ancient and commonplace within Africa long before the arrival of any white slaver. (The trans-Sahara slave trade route between West and North Africa likely had it's beginnings as early as 1000 B.C., hundreds of years before the Ethiopians, long enslaved by Egypt, conquered and gave to Egypt its Twenty-Fifth Dynasty; hundreds of years before Homer wrote in the Iliad that half the soul of man was lost when "the day of slavery" came upon him.")
"Slavery was widespread in Africa," writes Professor John Thornton in Africa and the Africans in 'The Making of the Atlantic World, 1400 - 1800,' "because slaves were the only form of private, revenue producing property recognized in African law."
To the 'odehye' - the freeborn - elite of West Africa, the outside forces of Europe, England and the Americas imposed no evil, but merely presented a new market, increased demand, and lucrative new export opportunities that the indigenous powers welcomed and readily exploited.
We bewail our past as slaves - experienced or ancestral, real or fancied - but never commemorate our enslavement of others.
Only circumstance separates slave from master; and for much of history, freedom and the will to enslave have been one. The oppressed, in the blessing of their deliverance, become the oppressors.
"The ox," said Aristotle, "is the poor man's slave."

NO STEP ON SNEK!
The bronze serpent is a significant biblical symbol found in the Book of Numbers. When the Israelites sinned against God, He sent venomous snakes among them. In response to their cries for help, Moses crafted a bronze serpent and set it on a pole; those who looked at it were healed from their snakebites2. This act served as a powerful symbol of God's mercy and provision amidst judgment, teaching the Israelites about faith. The bronze serpent represents both divine judgment and the opportunity for healing through faith
"Synthetic identities" are sometimes called "bots" as they are partially or entirely automated, and depending on the software "back end" can exhibit a wide range of common online behaviors. Trivial, as the majority of hum online exchanges are 'phatic,' just as in real life. It doesn't take much to say you're welcome cued by the word thank you, but with even a mediocre AI backend a synthetic bot can be entirely convincing, will pass a Turing test, as administered by most of us.
Interestingly there is no theory or approach that allows us to determine with certainty we ARE talking to a non-human intelligence. In other words; there is no reverse Turing test. An AI then can presumable simulate a human, but no Human can beat an Asian "Go" master with three days to learn the game.
If you're an Facebook user you likely have more than one synthetic identity on your friends list, marketers and data scrapers and polling firms and dodgy creeps from Langley use them all the time. They're after the scraps of the dinosaur's meal. Google, Facebook, Big Tech and the intelligence agencies are the dinos, and they have all data. They just don't have it exclusively. Not quite. They intend to, but they don't, not yet.
So private parties scrape and sell our data. Why should we care who knows what we buy at the pharmacy, what our greatest fears are, how much money we have and where it came from, that our cat is dying – all that. Data hungry entities can and do map living areas and homes, using a residents cell phone, laptop or a router's wireless signal in a fashion similar to radar. Listing all the data types that can be accessed, and their uses is impossible there are too many.
Theoretically data obtained in this way is "anonymized" and becomes "only the metadata" but the nature of that data allows ill disposed entities to target an online identity with personalized advertising and curated information. The average marketer has no need to know a real world identity. Other kinds of crooks, pathological predators, private detectives, spooks and skip tracers, the real world identity is easily determined. When you know everything about a (meta) person, finding the material body of that person isn't hard, usually just unnecessary.
The internet is a vector of evil, not just because it enables the trade in opiates arms, children and child pornography, but because as currently constituted in is a powerful social control system. In 30 years of existence the internet's curse now becomes a blessing. God, as they say, has two hands.
What's so good about a ruthless extractive out-of-control social network?
THIS:
NSA has comprehensive record of all EM and networked data back to forever. Every phone call every text every online transaction. Such records make for certain judgement. In many cases for harsh judgement. Trials held under the Uniform Code of Military Justice are swifter than those in civilian courts, far less theatrical, and not simply trading floors for higher levels of corruption.
For those of us not in that terminal category of sinner, our sins and misdeeds are a matter of record also. Perhaps one day we will be able to review our own data, and after a look in the mirror, may find ourselves more peaceable and less self-righteous.
