I suspect what they are doing is trying to trigger a knee jerk emotional reaction in people so they do not look too closely at the images. I look at all of them dispassionately to see what they actually are. Some accidents, suicides, abandoned bodies maybe from a murder and there was one of necrophilia. And about 3 that I suspect were court evidence after a murder where the murderer had posed cut off body parts to show disrespect for the victim.
I would have reacted differently a year ago, but this board has trained me to ignore unimportant stuff, to be logical in analysing everything, to keep my passions out of the way so that LOGIC can use my full mental capacity, and so on.
These are photos of a Satanic ritual site. Likely it did not have any evidence of who had used it when the NYPD looked at it. They were probably given a bunch of photos that somebody found which clearing out a storage locker where the renter had stopped paying and could not be contacted. Since satanists live to deceive and name or address would have been fake.
