Reminds of Jesus Christ. When he finished all that God had set before him - his ministry, his capture, his ultimate death after so much torture, then his glorious resurrection AND ascension - what did he do? He SAT at the right hand of God. And now he continues to sit at the right hand of God making intercession for us or in our stead.
In biblical times a King would sit when his work was finished.
