We are a praying family, and I do believe that it is the responsibility of good people to put themselves in the darkest places and do their best to find and amplify the light.

If that means danger or potentially fatal consequences, then so be it. But I am doing more here than I could anywhere else. I would rather be useful in this movement than safe and/or insulated.

Something curious I've been thinking about. We know that Hollywood Cabalists usually find themselves with an untimely death in their family around the time their career gets a boost.

Patton Oswalt, who we've been talking about today on this board, has his wife die in 2016. The next year, his stand-up special is comprised of 30 minutes of material about that situation. By the time the stand-up special airs, Patton is already remarried.
