Have to say, both my adult kids live with me and split the basement (fully finished into two huge rooms) but they help me. I have the entire ground floor, with my service dog, and they both help pay the mortgage and bills. Both work full time and are a huge asset to me by being here. If I fall, which I do several times a day for several years, they help me. And when I spent several years in a wheelchair ( I can now walk with aid of my service dog) 🐶,they helped me more than most kids would. We are a team! They even help with searching on here. So please don’t knock all kids that share a house with their parents. I’ve been their only parent for over 30 years. (Widowed)

Thanks, with shrapnel still 8n one leg from the navy it’s been tough but my kids make life easier for me.
