Amid deadly raids, Israeli army orders evacuation of another West Bank camp

Israeli army storms Nur Shams camp as it continues three-week ‘open war against existence of Palestinian people’ in West Bank.

The Israeli army issued a forced evacuation threat for Nur Shams refugee camp as it continues its deadly operation across the occupied West Bank.

Israeli forces “stormed” the camp’s al-Ayada neighbourhood on Wednesday, using loudspeakers at a mosque to tell residents to immediately leave the camp, which has been under Israeli siege since earlier this week, the Palestinian Wafa news agency reported.

The report added that Israeli forces deployed at the entrances to the camp fired “live bullets and sound bombs” to sow panic among residents, with soldiers “assaulting young men” and “expelling the elderly without allowing them to take their basic needs”.

The forced evacuation threat was the latest in a series of orders issued over the past four days since Israel launched operations in the camp.

Three weeks ago, Israel launched its “Iron Wall” military operation across the West Bank, killing dozens of Palestinians and forcing at least 40,000 to flee their homes, according to the United Nations agency for Palestinian refugees (UNRWA).

Launched just days after a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas was agreed in Gaza, the operation has seen Israeli forces raiding several refugee camps, including Jenin, Tulkarem, Far’a and Arroub, in a bid to clear them of residents.

“It’s comprehensive and open war against the whole existence of the Palestinian people in the West Bank,” Hamza Zubiedat, a land rights researcher based in Bethlehem, told Al Jazeera.

Conflicting Reports as Israel Intends to Remain in Lebanon Beyond Latest Deadline

Israeli media reports US has approved an extension of occupation

Last night it was reported in Israeli media that the US had denied the Israeli government’s request to extend the latest deadline for Israel to withdraw from Lebanon, which is February 18. Less than 24-hours later, those same outlets are quoting Israeli officials who say that the US has agreed, and Israel can stay.

Details are conflicting in different media accounts of the matter. What is clear is that Israel has no intention of leaving Lebanon by the deadline. IDF spokesman Avichai Adraee confirmed Israel will remain, and reiterated that Lebanese civilians cannot return to the occupied villages across the south “until further notice.”

The official Israeli narrative is that the troops need to stay because of Iran. Israel also announced on Wednesday that they’re sending an additional battalion to northern Israel along the border. This battalion is supposed to increase surveillance of the still-occupied south of Lebanon.

Beyond that, a lot of the details are very much unclear. Israeli Strategic Affair Minister Ron Dermer confirmed that Israel would keep five hill-top surveillance posts inside Lebanon, but didn’t offer any date. It was reported earlier today Israel was seeking to extend the deadline from February 18 to February 28. But other reports said Israel had extended the deadline all the way to the end of Ramadan.

The exact dates of the month of Ramadan depend on the sighting of the moon, but it is expected to end on March 29 or March 30, so that would tack on a whole addition month. That report appears to originate from the Saudi-based Arabian al-Hadath. That report also claims Lebanon has agreed to the continued occupation through that new date.

Lebanese officials are very quick to insist that this is not the case. President Joseph Aoun spoke on the matter Wednesday during a meeting with the Portuguese Foreign Minister insisting that Lebanon is not approving any additional extensions and that they expect Israel to withdraw by February 18.

The ceasefire which ended Israel’s war in Lebanon, was meant to see Israel withdraw troops within 60 days, which at the time was overnight January 26. Israel did not withdraw, and while the US initially “guaranteed” Israel would leave by the old deadline and President Trump was reported to have opposed an extension, the US fairly quickly endorsed the idea of pushing it back to February 18.

Now that the new date is approaching, an eerily similar process seems to be happening. People were assuring that the pullout was “on track,” even though it was getting increasingly clear, even before today, that Israel wanted to push that deadline back once again. Israeli officials seem confident that they have done so at this point, and the only questions are what the new date is, and who has actually rubber stamped the move.

Opposition’s Golan: Probe Netanyahu and staff for possible treason over aide’s Qatar ties

Democrats party chief says suspicions must be investigated and those who had unofficial contacts with Qatar suspended; PM’s Likud calls remarks ‘incitement’ that crosses ‘red line’

Allegations that a close aide to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu carried out public relations work for Qatar during the war with Hamas require an investigation of possible treason, including a probe of the premier himself, Democrats chairman Yair Golan urged Thursday.

“There is a suspicion of treason in the Prime Minister’s Office that must be investigated,” Golan declared at a Tel Aviv press conference he called on the matter.

“All of the Prime Minister’s Office staff who were in contact with Qatar must be immediately investigated. And Netanyahu himself must be investigated,” he insisted.

Golan’s comments, dismissed by the Likud party as “incitement,” were reportedly bolstered by an open letter signed by several former top military officials calling for an investigation into suspicions of foreign influence and whether Netanyahu knew of his aides’ outside activities.

Among the signatories were former prime minister Ehud Barak and several retired generals, as well as former public security minister Omer Bar Lev, Channel 13 news reported.

“This is not the first time that Netanyahu’s bureau has discovered links between his aides and the Qatari government,” the letter reads. “If Netanyahu was aware that his aides were acting as advisers to Qatar, it would point to a very dangerous security scandal.”

According to a report aired Monday by Channel 12 news, Eli Feldstein, a former military spokesman for the prime minister, was employed by a Qatar-funded company to improve public perception of Doha surrounding the Gulf country’s role in mediating a hostage deal between Israel and Hamas.

Qatar, which has been a prime funder of Hamas, was a mediator in the talks along with the US and Egypt.

Feldstein is also a key suspect in a scandal surrounding the leak of classified IDF documents related to the war.

Israel set to stay in Syria for years with Trump's support, 'Post' learns

Israel will remain in its position in Syria and the West Bank with backing from the Trump administration, amid ongoing pressure from the EU and the UN.

US President Donald Trump’s administration will support Israel in maintaining a buffer zone in Syria for years to come, The Jerusalem Post has learned.

Although the EU and UN are making significant progress in normalizing relations with the new Syrian regime of Ahmed al-Sharaa, including at a major summit in Paris on Thursday, the Jewish state is confident that the Trump administration understands Jerusalem’s concerns that the new regime could be a “wolf in sheep’s clothing.”

In that sense, even if the Europeans and the UN start pressuring Israel to withdraw in the coming months, as long as the Jewish state has support from the American president to maintain the buffer zone, the IDF is expected to remain there for a very extended period.

With Sharaa not even committing to elections before a period of four years passes, Israel believes it will be able to viably argue that the true colors of the regime will not yet be clear even by the end of 2025.

Significantly, it understands that Trump does not want to spend US time and energy on Syria and would like to withdraw the remaining American forces there, but this would not impact his continued support for an Israeli buffer zone there.

Trump supports Israel in Syria

Until now, pressure had been steadily increasing on the Jewish state to withdraw from the Syria buffer zone, given Sharaa’s consistent public statements that he will respect the 1974 armistice between the countries and his concrete moves to reintegrate with the West.

In that vein, earlier public statements by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz about staying in Syria for all of 2025 or longer had appeared to be maximalist statements to try to pressure key parties involved in Syria to take Israeli security seriously.

However, the latest revelations suggest that Trump administration support for Israeli presence in Syria remains undaunted even two months after the Jewish state created the buffer zone around December 8 and despite progress to remove sanctions against Sharaa’s government from the Assad-regime days.

Biden Energy Official Who Gave $1.6 Billion To Company He Invested In Says He Has No Regrets

A Biden administration official who approved a $1.6 billion loan to a company he invested in recently said he does not regret his decision.

Jigar Shah, former President Joe Biden’s head of the Department of Energy’s Loan Programs Office, recently told Semafor that he wouldn’t change “a single thing” about his actions in office. A reporter for the outlet asked Shah if he would have done anything differently at the Loan Programs Office (LPO) at the Department of Education, and Shah said no.

“Not a single thing,” Shah said. “To take an office that was shut down by the Obama administration after Solyndra and give it hope again, that just takes the amount of time that it takes.”

Just days before President Donald Trump retook office, Shah finalized a $1.6 billion federal loan to a green energy company in which he was invested, The Washington Free Beacon reported. Shah made the $100 million investment in Plug Power, a hydrogen fuel developer, through his green financial firm Generate Capital – just before he joined the Biden administration in 2021. Just one month after Shah joined the administration, Plug Power applied for a federal loan from his office.

Republicans had raised concerns about Shah’s ties to the company, but those concerns went nowhere and Shah joined the Biden administration. Shah’s finalization of a loan to Plug Power came just weeks after the Department of Energy’s own inspector general asked him to halt all loans from his office due to a “significant risk of fraud” and conflict-of-interest concerns within the program. Shah ignored the warning and provided billions to green energy companies in the final weeks of the Biden administration, the Free Beacon reported.

During the four years of the Biden administration, the LPO pumped out $400 billion to green energy companies, according to the Free Beacon.

Shah was directly involved in the Plug Power loan process, the Free Beacon found during a public records request, even holding a meeting with the company’s CEO in May 2021. Three days after that meeting, staff in Shah’s office held another meeting focused on Plug Power.

In 2023, Plug Power warned investors it may run out of money within a year, and Morgan Stanley downgraded the company’s stock due to “significant risk around PLUG’s business model.”

This didn’t stop Shah from handing the company another $1.6 billion in the closing days of the Biden administration.

The Federal Reserve Cartel: A Financial Parasite

Part IV of a five-part series

United World Federalists founder James Warburg’s father was Paul Warburg, who financed Hitler with help from Brown Brothers Harriman partner Prescott Bush. [1]

Colonel Ely Garrison was a close friend of both President Teddy Roosevelt and President Woodrow Wilson. Garrison wrote in Roosevelt, Wilson and the Federal Reserve, “Paul Warburg was the man who got the Federal Reserve Act together after the Aldrich Plan aroused such nationwide resentment and opposition. The mastermind of both plans was Baron Alfred Rothschild of London.”

The Aldrich Plan was hatched at a secret 1910 meeting at JP Morgan’s private resort on Jekyl Island, SC between Rockefeller, lieutenant Nelson Aldrich and Paul Warburg of the German Warburg banking dynasty. Aldrich, a New York congressman, later married into the Rockefeller family. His son Winthrop Aldrich chaired Chase Manhattan Bank. While the bankers met, Colonel Edward House, another Rockefeller stooge and close confidant of President Woodrow Wilson, was busy convincing Wilson of the importance of a private central bank and the introduction of a national income tax. A member of House’s staff was British MI6 Permindex insider General Julius Klein. [2]

Wilson didn’t need much convincing, since he was beholden to copper magnate Cleveland Dodge, whose namesake Phelps Dodge became one of the biggest mining companies in the world. Dodge bankrolled Wilson’s political career. Wilson even wrote his inaugural speech on Dodge’s yacht. [3]

Wilson was a classmate of both Dodge and Cyrus McCormick at Princeton. Both were directors at Rockefeller’s National City Bank (now Citigroup). Wilson’s main focus was on overcoming public distrust of the bankers, which New York City Mayor John Hylan echoed in 1922 when he argued, “The real menace to our republic is the invisible government which, like a giant octopus, sprawls its slimy length over our city, state and nation. At the head is a small group of banking houses, generally referred to as the international bankers”. [4]

But the Eight Families prevailed. In 1913 the Federal Reserve Bank was born, with Paul Warburg its first Governor. Four years later the US entered World War I, after a secret society known as the Black Hand assassinated Archduke Ferdinand and his Hapsburg wife. The Archduke’s friend Count Czerin later said, “A year before the war he informed me that the Masons had resolved upon his death.”[5]

That same year, Bolsheviks overthrew the Hohehzollern monarchy in Russia with help from Max Warburg and Jacob Schiff, while the Balfour Declaration leading to the creation of Israel was penned to Zionist Second Lord Rothschild.

In the 1920’s Baron Edmund de Rothschild founded the Palestine Economics Commission, while Kuhn Loeb’s Manhattan offices helped Rothschild form a network to smuggle weapons to Zionist death squads bent on seizing Palestinian lands. General Julius Klein oversaw the operation and headed the US Army Counterintelligence Corps, which later produced Henry Kissinger. Klein diverted Marshall Plan aid to Europe to Zionist terror cells in Palestine after WWII, channeling the funds through the Sonneborn Institute, which was controlled by Baltimore chemical magnate Rudolph Sonneborn. His wife Dorothy Schiff is related to the Warburgs. [6]

Lee Zeldin Reveals Shocking Abuse by Biden’s EPA – $20 Billion Parked at Outside Financial Institution in Last-Minute Heist!

Lee Zeldin, Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) provided an update to the money wasted on Biden’s watch in response to undercover video posted by Project Veritas in December.

As previously reported, an EPA advisor was exposed in a Project Veritas undercover video admitting that the agency rushed to allocate billions of taxpayer dollars to climate change initiatives just before President Donald Trump’s inauguration.

Brent Efron, a special advisor at the EPA and instrumental in implementing Biden’s climate agenda, spoke to a Project Veritas operative about the rush to disburse funds two months before Trump’s inauguration.

“Now it’s how to get the money out as fast as possible before they [Trump Administration] come in … It truly feels like we’re on the Titanic or throwing gold bar off the top edge.,” Efron said.

Under the Biden administration’s Inflation Reduction Act, which Efron referred to as “Biden’s climate law,” over $100 billion was allocated for various environmental projects.

Efron detailed how the EPA is scrambling to ensure these funds are committed to projects, including those initially planned for a Kamala Harris presidency.

“The thing that we haven’t funded yet are [sic] the local nonprofit program that was going to be an inter-Kamala Harris administration program… so now we’re getting it [funding] out as quick as possible. It’s like two billion at this point, we’ve got most of it out – like 90%.”

Efron also disclosed that the EPA planned to continue this funding rush until the very last minute on Inauguration Day.

“We gave them [nonprofits, states, tribes] the money because… it was an insurance policy against Trump winning. Because they aren’t [a government agency], they’re safer from Republicans taking the money away,” he said.

Efron also discusses the EPA’s strategy of using nonprofits as a shield against Republican policies, and hints at the potential personal benefits awaiting him post-tenure.

“Over the last year we’ve given out $50 billion dollars for climate things…so to go work for one of these places would be really cool.”
