You missed a big point. Jesus handed Himself over, committing the greater sin according to Him in the bible. He had the authority, He knew it was coming, when Peter said it must not happen, Jesus rebuked him. Jesus said it had to happen.
Love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. The second is like it, love your neighbor as yourself. All the law and prophets hang on these two commandments.
