Florida: Lee County Commissioners Voted to Remove Fluoride from Water Supply

Lee County, Florida joined Everglades City, Cape Coral, Marco Island, Immokalee, Naples County, Collier County, and Bonita Springs Utilities in rejecting the addition of fluoride to its water. Last November, Florida Surgeon General Dr. Joseph A. Ladapo issued a statement urging elected officials to remove fluoride from their water. He said that studies clearly show it to be a “neurotoxin” that can impair the intelligence of children, damage their pineal gland, and negatively impact their thyroid.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr was confirmed as the Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS), has proposed removing fluoride from public water supplies. Trump said that “sounds okay” to him.

Last August, HHS revealed that excessive fluoride consumption in children has been linked to a two to five-point IQ reduction. Judge Edward Chen ordered the US Environmental Protection Agency to strengthen regulations around fluoride.

Microsoft Deepened Ties with Israeli Military to Provide Tech Support During Gaza War

Leaked documents show that the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) relied on Microsoft’s cloud technology and artificial intelligence systems during the most intensive phase of its bombardment of Gaza. Documents and interviews suggest Microsoft’s Azure cloud computing system has been used to support combat and intelligence activities. The IDF also depends on Amazon and Google, which joined forces to win Israel’s sprawling billion-dollar military contract, known as “Project Nimbus”.

Israel is accused of grave violations of international humanitarian law.

Microsoft’s Azure was used by Israel’s Unit 8200 and Unit 81 that develops cutting-edge spy technology for Israel’s intelligence community.

In January 2024, OpenAI quietly deleted its own restrictions against the use of its services for “military and warfare” activities as part of a comprehensive rewrite of its policies. At around this time, files suggest, the Israeli military’s consumption of the Azure OpenAI suite of products began to spike.
