The official website of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), led by Elon Musk, has a major security flaw.

Two coders discovered that the doge.gov site is not only hosted on non-government servers but also has an easily accessible database—allowing anyone to edit its web pages. One coder was even able to make live changes, leaving messages such as: "These experts left their databases open" and "This is a joke of a gov site."

Ironically, DOGE is responsible for modernizing federal technology. Under Musk’s leadership, the department has focused on cutting programs—particularly DEI initiatives—while claiming to fight fraud, though without providing evidence.

This marks the second government website found with security vulnerabilities this week. Just days ago, waste.gov was exposed for using an unedited WordPress template before being abruptly locked behind a password.
