985 Naxals surrender, 1,177 arrested and 305 killed as Chhattisgarh tightens grip

The security forces in Chhattisgarh have intensified operations against Naxal groups, with more than 300 killed, over 1,100 arrested, and nearly 1,000 surrendering in the past 13 months.

"The government's policy is clear, surrender or face action," an official said.
