thats brass, not gold.
New Zealand was the last country to get its gold back, and that was 1983, if I remember correctly.
It was widely published in NZ papers, that there was no gold left, and we were real lucky to get it back.
Germany wanted its gold back, but was told, umm, well noooo, um , er because, ah ahhh, um….
When it did get SOME gold back, it was not the serialized bars it had deposited "for safe keeping", but a load of junk, which they had to melt down and refine back to .999 fine.
Read Hitlers speeches, about how Roosevelt stole the Norwegian gold. Set up there own "Official Norwegian Govt", and they said we could have it…….
Its tarnished.
Find the pick of the full bin, and you can actually see the green stain from the copper in the brass.
Here you go,
Melted down shell casings.
