Adding on to the research posted yesterday on the catalog / threads subject >>2251030 , here are more investigation results.

Looking at the threads in the catalog we see -

• The last threads shown at the foot of the catalog today, now, are July 6's generals

• Moving up the catalog we can mouseover and check the dates on the other generals

• We see them going in consecutive order from July 6 up to today's at the top

• There are no threads from BEFORE July 6 in the catalog and all looks in perfect order

• There are no threads from June in the catalog as some have reported

• No days threads are missing

We can deduce from this that -

• Threads are dropping off the catalog naturally

• None have been deleted / gone missing from the middle

• The June threads which some anons are saying are still in the catalog are not, they're available because the June threads are archived at https://8ch.net/qresearch/archive/index.html and therefore available (the thread address stays the same once it's archived)

• The July threads from June 29 - July 6 were not archived and unless we have a backup, are now lost to the online archive

Issue

• We have lost threads naturally from the catalog from 06.29.18 - 07.06.18, so 7 days of generals, approx 77 general threads

• Because they have fallen off BEFORE the scheduled archiving at the end of the month, they are not in our online archive

• It would be good if BO/BV's could manually archive the July 7 and later threads today, as they're still disappearing as we create new threads

Thanks to you Clam for that, and for the anon's posts. I guess when a solution is agreed upon by BO/BV team that they'll use offline backups to replace those lost threads. Hopefully that's possible somehow. CM may also have some kind of backup. Hoping. Let's see.
