> DMV or SS, they ask you to register for a political party. That should be private information and a separate vertical, what stops a rogue employee from putting people on targeted lists?
Why do we need to register at all? You have to show proof when you go to vote anyways, right? Why give them privy information? God forbid you ever register as a Republican or any against them, you are on a list for life, even if you change parties, they will still target you. You would have made the biggest blunder of your life, unwittingly. We should just provide proof on the day of voting, a SS, DL, or passport, and that is it. Why give them a heads up. Because what happened in NY before, was that when I showed proof when I came to vote, they knew to send me to a specific table to get a ballot which was purposely made a little to small, and the voting machine that I was assigned to use was programmed to take the ballot, flash a quick message, but I waited and watched a minute later my ballot being spit back out. Meanwhile, the poll watcher acts like a nasty cop, your good, other people are waiting, move along; even though no one was waiting after me. These are just some of their tactics, and they get away with it with most people because most people judge by their own emotions knowing they would never do that, unwittingly.
