Yes, the most profoundly impactful tactic would be using existing immigration law to fine and imprison those who harbor, or HIRE them.

Put some CEO's in prison for 200+ years and you'll see self deportations hit record numbers.

Again, the immigrants might be "a" problem, but they aren't "the" problem. The real problem is the people benefitting from their presence and profiting by illegal means. It destroys the competitive system.

Anon has to ask: why should the US concern itself over the benefit to "migrant workers" or their employers?

Again, it's ILLEGAL to hire them. It's also illegal to rent to them or in any way assist them.

Just because they got away with it in the past doesn't absolve them of guilt nor does it justify moving forward with a program that artificially depresses working wages in certain areas.

The ONLY real beneficiaries to "migrant" work are those who are unwilling to pay fair wages and who are using illegals to cheat the system.

Have worked for companies that hire tons of illegals. The real driver isn't even the lowered pay rate, it's the fact that they have no rights and unless they kiss the ring, the business owner can call ICE and have them deported.

Better to follow the law and deal with the fallout.

Remember, always, that countries exist to protect their citizens and culture from destruction.
