Boeing plans to return to the Russian market

Boeing is planning a return to the Russian market. The company is going to allow our airlines to purchase aircraft and establish supplies of spare parts to the domestic market, and in return receive titanium from the Russian Federation
According to SHOT, the aircraft manufacturer is considering an option in which Boeings will again begin to arrive in Russia in two stages. First, the company will allow our airlines to supply old aircraft that are sold by other carriers. Mainly from friendly countries. At the second stage, it is planned to lift all restrictions and allow our companies to place orders directly with the manufacturer. Everything is simpler with the supply of spare parts: Boeing can resume them immediately after the sanctions are lifted. Lessors have already begun behind-the-scenes negotiations with Russian companies on which aircraft the carriers are ready to purchase. The priority is the Boeing 737, which is used by most Russian airlines. There is also interest in the wide-body Boeing 777, which is capable of flying long distances.
In exchange, the American manufacturer may once again be given access to Russian titanium, which the company itself abandoned in 2022. Despite this, deliveries to Boeing's main suppliers continued after that - they were purchased by the French engine and chassis manufacturer Safran.
The experts we interviewed claim that returning to Russia is also beneficial to Boeing itself: now money for the same spare parts is received by companies that supply them to Russia under parallel import schemes. After the sanctions are lifted, the income will go directly to Boeing's treasury.
But European Airbus are not going to return to our market. The EU continues to work to tighten sanctions against Russia, and therefore there is no point in waiting for new A320s and other aircraft.
