I know I’m barking up the wrong tree here, but if any of you can debunk me, please have at it.
Basically, I think Trump’s poll numbers are going down for several reasons:
-
Inflation (albeit Biden’s) is still a major problem. He said he would fix it on “day one”.
-
He didn’t “settle” the war in Ukraine “as president-elect” like he promised.
-
Generally, people are nervous about 10’s of 1,000’s of federal employees getting fired, out of the blue, and for no fault of their own.
-
Most of his actions have been executive orders (aka temporary).
-
He’s picking a lot of fights with our neighbors, some unnecessarily.
-
Despite what you say, he IS firing FAA employees in the face of increasing plane incidents around the country (feels unsafe).
-
Overall his second term just seems really chaotic and unstable, and people don’t like that.
