I know I’m barking up the wrong tree here, but if any of you can debunk me, please have at it.

Basically, I think Trump’s poll numbers are going down for several reasons:

  1. Inflation (albeit Biden’s) is still a major problem. He said he would fix it on “day one”.

  2. He didn’t “settle” the war in Ukraine “as president-elect” like he promised.

  3. Generally, people are nervous about 10’s of 1,000’s of federal employees getting fired, out of the blue, and for no fault of their own.

  4. Most of his actions have been executive orders (aka temporary).

  5. He’s picking a lot of fights with our neighbors, some unnecessarily.

  6. Despite what you say, he IS firing FAA employees in the face of increasing plane incidents around the country (feels unsafe).

  7. Overall his second term just seems really chaotic and unstable, and people don’t like that.
