>how will you know a 'good baker' ???

By their fruits, just as always.

>did anyone realize that AFLB was one of the 'baker's union' asshats from the exodus?

Yes, that's why I've always been categorically against it.

>The problem is when it becomes an exclusive club

correct.

>it's an exclusive club now, BO & BVs are the only ones who can 'approve' of a baker, we anons still don't know which one is which until after the fact if at all

They haven't disallowed any newbaker that I have seen. This is fear mongering unless you have evidence of fuckery.

Anons asked for a solution, BO provided one. Do you have a better solution?

Same mind, anon.. This is a new attempt at throwing a wedge into the mod team.

One of them, who has been called out by name in this thread, is a character from before the exodus too, just like AFLB.. And [they] always keep players in reserve. Remember that.

>The anons voted overwhelmingly in approval in the straw poll for allowing the bakers to use tripcodes which would eliminate the need for BO or BV vetting.

false logic.

WHO would be responsible for white listing tripcodes? The mod team? So how is that better than the current system?

I prefer the current system. tripfagging is actually worse than badgefagging (which actually is kinda funny :)), by orders of magnitude; And BV's advising anons on the efficacy of a baker is preferable to BV's granting permission with a tripcode.
