Those particular memes have been a thing here since the early days. I think even 2018, but perhaps not that far back, time just kind of all blurs together and the distance between moments gets fuzzy. You can always just filter if it bothers you. Have you read any of those memes though? There's information in those though, it's not just fluff, but I do agree with you that it's used as filler now.
