Jordan Chariton interviewed Sil Caggiano, a Hazardous Waste Expert and former Battalion Chief of the Youngstown Fire Department, about the Vistra Lithium battery plant in Northern California erupting in fire AGAIN on February 18th—one month after it initially went on fire for days in mid-January. The initial January fire caused serious health symptoms including nosebleeds, chemical burns, headaches, lung burning, breathing problems, dizziness, fatigue, coughing, metallic taste in mouth, and more. Despite the plant lighting on fire again a month later, there was no evacuation order for residents issued from the government and Monterey County government sent out an alert falsely labeling the reignited fire as "light smoke." Since the fire reignited days ago, residents have been sharing with us and posting on social media worsening health symptoms.
