"Representative Robert Garcia, a California Democrat, said a United States attorney part of the Department of Justice (DOJ) sent him a letter asking for clarification on his comments about Elon Musk.

"The letter raised concerns about Garcia's comments on CNN earlier in February, when he said,"What the American public wants is for us to bring actual weapons to this bar fight."

"Thissounds to me like a threat to Mr. Musk - an appointed representative of President Donald Trump who you call a 'dick' - and government staff who work for him," U.S. Attorney Edward R. Martin wrote in the letter. "Their concerns haveled to this inquiry."

Here is where Rep. Garcia held up a photo of Musk and called it a "dick pic" during a Congressional hearing:

In his response to the DOJ letter, Rep. Garcia (D-CA) disingenuously focused only on the dick pic and ignores his "bring actual weapons" call to violence which was the focus of the DOJ letter:

"So if you criticize Elon Musk, Trump’s DOJ will send you this letter. Members of Congress must have the right to forcefully oppose the Trump Administration. I will not be silenced."

This article (below) also disingenuously refers only to the "dick pic" reference to Elon Musk from a Congressional committee dias by a sitting member of Congress, CA Rep. Robert Garcia. It omits the actual INCITEMENT to VIOLENCE languageused by the Representive in an interview, that wasquoted in the DOJ letterto the sitting Representative, andabout which the DOJ sought clarification.

Re foreign-born Constitution shredders Rep. Robert Garcia (D-CA) and District Court (anti-Trump) Judge Chutkan - are their "Naturalization" papers subject to FOIA?

Shouldn't American citizens be allowed to easily look up when AND IF their foreign-born Congressional representatives (there are many) and foreign-born judges (like Judge Chutkan - who sits on so many cases in which President Trump and/or his administration is under attack) - ever PROPERLY became citizens of the United States of America????????

=Both Rep. Garcia (D-CA) and Judge Chutkan were born abroad (Peru and Jamaica, respectively) to foreigners and claim to have come to the states with an immigrant parent (Garcia) or to attend school (Chutkan). Both claim to have later become naturalized U.S. citizens.

-Congressman Garcia immigrated from Peru to the United States as a young child and was raised in Southern California, and became a U.S. citizen in his 20's. https://robertgarcia.house.gov/about

=But one of the requirements of naturalization is that one must"Show that you are a lawfully admittedpermanent resident of the United States." https://www.uscis.gov/archive/naturalization-fact-sheet-1

=If their parents were not lawfully admitted, a hypothesis, how could they have been?

One, Judge Chutkan, is claiming to have the power from a lower level district Court bench to restrict the Constitutionally-granted power of the most powerful man in the world from an "equal" - not superior - branch of government (which is not showing respect for the Constitution and, if anything, will generate the "Constitutional crisis" lauded so loudly, though baselessly, by the left).

-In her closing remarks, Judge Chutkan shared a glimpse of her own journey to citizenship after leaving her native Jamaica. “I know this is a special day for you and your families. When I say I know that, I really do know that, because I, too, am an immigrant,” Chutkan said. “I remember this day very well. In fact, my sister was naturalized right here in this very Rotunda many years ago. I know this is a special day, and I know how long and hard you have worked to get here.” https://www.archives.gov/news/articles/naturalization-constitution-day-2019

The other, Rep. Garcia (D -CA), is actively calling for violence on the streets in an interview and later dismissing any concern about it:

Garcia scoffed at their reactions, saying in a statement: “No reasonable person would view my comments as a threat. We are living in a dangerous time, and elected members of Congress must have the right to forcefully oppose the Trump Administration. We will not be silenced.”

-Garcia was born in Lima, [Peru]. He immigrated to the United States with his mother at age 5. His mother and aunt worked in many jobs, such as housekeepers, to support the family. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Garcia_(California_congressman)

Are naturalization papers subject to FOIA? If not, at least for Congressmen and women, and the judicial branch, shouldn't they be?

Dems are attacking Musk's and Melania's paths to citizenship. What about theirs?
