Ca is banning electric bicycles with throttles and starting to confiscate them. Imagine pay $3,500 for a good bike last year, just to get it confiscated so that they can sell them in another state. New scum is the old scum. Trump should write a logical executive order for E bikes. There should be separate laws for bike paths, and the same speed limits for all bikes that adhere to our regular car laws. Some e bikes do 50mph now and should be allowed to travel with regular traffic doing those speeds, 30 mph residential, and 20 on bike paths. Restrict speed, not equipment. Now that they lost Fed funding due to fires, they want to make money on expensive bikes and sell them across state lines. I know how these usurpers think. Easy money.
