Much of the surveillance comes through hardware from China…. Chips, bios, CPU. Controllers…. they have code, integrated into these chips to not only perform the specific function, but they have additional space where they store other code to do other things. When you go to Chinese, manufactures and engineers, they do not divulge anything and claimed an intellectual property proprietary knowledge etc when you use Ghidra you can actually reverse engineer and see what is going on with the additional space on these chips.
