BERKELEY SPRINGS, WV: "Law enforcement have announced they’ve made an arrest of a non-citizen after a counterfeit money investigation in Morgan County earlier this month. Around 8:30pm on February 9th, Deputies from the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to 25 Union Street in Berkeley Springs to the 7/11 convenience store for a report of fraud/counterfeit money. Deputies say they encountered a man who was identifying himself as Zabihullah Enayatulla. Through an investigation, MCSO say the this man was not who he said he was, with him eventually being identified as Khaled Khaleeq, a non-citizen in the US on a work visa. Khaleeq was also wanted on warrants for burglary and forgery in Will County, Illinois. Khaleeq, MCSO Deputies say, was wanted on a nationwide extradition, with him having a lengthy criminal history.
Khaleeq has been tied with at least one other case involving counterfeit currency in Morgan County, with MCSO saying that charges will be forthcoming as the investigation is still ongoing. Khaleeq was arrested on charges of fugitive from justice, obstructing an officer, and possession of counterfeit money with intent to utter. He is currently being held in ERJ on bond."
