More lies. Ukraine had Soviet Union nuclear weapons systems that the Soviets owned and were the only ones who knew how to maintain and operate them. Ukraine did not "give up their weapons", the world agreed the safest way to handle those nukes after the Soviet Union collapsed was to give them to Russia because Russia knew how to operate them, safeguard them and maintain them properly.
The war started AFTER Ukraine and NATO broke 3 separate international treaties with Russia, and Merkel even admitted to it!
