This is a once in a lifetime opportunity - Expose the fraud, expose the illegality, expose the truth!

Looks like “accountability” is the dirtiest word in the lexicon of the federal workforce. Let’s briefly review what set off this particular firestorm.

At 2:46 pm on Saturday, February 22, 2025, Elon Musk posted on X:

Consistent with President @realDonaldTrump’s instructions, all federal employees will shortly receive an email requesting to understand what they got done last week. Failure to respond will be taken as a resignation.

Later in the day, this email was sent from OPM to employees:

Please reply to this email with approx. 5 bullets of what you accomplished last week and cc your manager. Please do not send any classified information, links, or attachments. Deadline was this past Monday at 11:59 pm EST.

The Genius Behind the Strategy:

President Trump responded Monday revealing perhaps the main reason for these emails:

We have people that don’t show up to work and nobody even knows if they work for the government so by asking the question ‘tell us what you did this week,’ what he’s doing is saying are you actually working. And then, if you don’t answer, like, you’re sort of semi-fired or you're fired … a lot of people are not answering because they don't even exist. [Emphasis added.]

So there really is a touch of genius in this strategy — as it will expose employees who may have died, or moved to another country, or never even existed.

Michelle Trachtenberg, 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer,' and 'Harriet the Spy' star, dies at 39.

Paramedics pronounced her dead at the scene. No foul play was suspected, and the New York Medical Examiner is investigating the cause of death, police said.

Representatives for Trachtenberg did not immediately respond to a request for comment. Her death was first reported by the New York Post.

Trachtenberg was 8 when she began played Nona Mecklenberg on Nickelodeon’s “The Adventures of Pete & Pete Nona” from 1994 to 1996 and then starred in the title role in the film adaptations of “Harriet the Spy” and “Inspector Gadget,” opposite Matthew Broderick.

“Michelle comes off as genuine because she really is a genuine kid. Everyone can identify with her,” said Debby Beece, president of Nickelodeon Movies in 1996.

In 2000 Trachtenberg joined the cast of “Buffy,” playing Dawn Summers, the younger sister of the title character played by Sarah Michelle Gellar between 2000 and 2003.

Trachtenberg thanked Gellar for speaking out against Joss Whedon in 2021, following abuse allegations made against the “Buffy” showrunner. “I am brave enough now as a 35-year-old woman to repost this,” she wrote on social media, and alluded to “his not appropriate behavior” she experienced as a teenage actor.

FCC to Deliver Findings of George Soros Investigation.

Federal Communications Commission Chairman Brendan Carr is expected to provide an update on the agency’s investigation into George Soros and his influence over local radio stations to Republican lawmakers Wednesday.

Members of the Republican Study Committee, a caucus of 175 House Republicans, will host Carr at their annual closed-door lunch Wednesday, Fox News reported.

Carr is slated to brief lawmakers on the influence that Soros exercises over the local radio stations, since the longtime progressive financier has ties to an investment bank that purchased over 200 Audacy radio stations nationwide last year.

Carr is also expected to address wider tactics to oppose left-wing media.

The recent purchase of the radio stations has indeed drawn the attention of senior Republicans.

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer, a Republican from Kentucky, said in September that he and Rep. Nick Langworthy, a Republican from New York, would probe the FCC under the Biden administration for “taking unprecedented action” to let Soros Fund Management take a major stake in Audacy.

The investment entity has a substantial share of foreign ownership, prompting Carr to testify against the deal before the House Oversight Committee.

‘America’s worst mayor’ loses reelection primary in landslide.

Dolton, Illinois, Mayor Tiffany Henyard lost the Democratic primary for reelection in a landslide after a turbulent term in which she was embroiled in various scandals.

Since taking office in 2021 in the village outside Chicago, Henyard's rocky tenure has led to her being dubbed "America's worst mayor" by critics, while she has proclaimed herself "super mayor." She lost in the Democratic primary for mayor to Dolton Trustee Jason House on Tuesday by a roughly 87.9%-12.1% result, according to the Cook County Clerk's Office.

MSNBC fired Maddow's staff. Maybe she'll leave the network.

MSNBC bloodbath hits Rachel Maddow staffers. MSNBC has informed staffers who work on Rachel Maddow’s prime time opinion show that they are being let go as part of the network’s restructuring that resulted in the cancellation of Joy Reid’s program as well as those of other hosts.

The Comcast-owned, left-leaning channel told Maddow staffers they have the option of reapplying for new roles at the network or accepting a severance payout.

The plan is for Maddow to resume her once-a-week schedule beginning on April 21. The remaining 9 p.m. shows from Tuesday through Friday will then be hosted by Jen Psaki, the former Biden White House press secretary.

An MSNBC spokesperson declined to comment.

Former IRS contractor who leaked Trump tax returns also spilled info on 405K others.

The ex-IRS contractor who was responsible for leaking President Donald Trump's tax returns also divulged information about more than 405,000 other filers, the agency revealed to the House Judiciary Committee earlier this month.

Charles Littlejohn, who is serving a five-year prison sentence in Florida for leaking the president’s tax returns to ProPublica and The New York Times, pleaded guilty to one count of the unauthorized disclosure of return information even though the leak involved the disclosure of thousands of filers.

Last year, House Judiciary Committee Chairman Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, opened an investigation into the DOJ's "unusual and questionable leniency" towards Littlejohn following his prison sentence.

100 Intel Officers Fired for 'Brazen' Conduct.

More than 100 intelligence officers across 15 agencies will be fired, Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard said Tuesday—but this is no cost-cutting move. Gabbard said she issued a directive to terminate them for participating in sexually explicit conversations on a government chat tool. The New York Times reports the National Security Agency's "Intelink" messaging platform was supposed to be used by employees to discuss "sensitive security matters." A DNI rep said on X that Gabbard has sent a memo to all intelligence agencies instructing them to identify the employees who were a party to the "obscene, pornographic, and sexually explicit" chats and to terminate their employment and revoke their security clearances by Friday.

Mills demands answers over reported Biden-era misuse of service member funds.

A Military.com investigation found that more than $151 million of $225 million collected from soldiers' Basic Allowance for Subsistence payments was not spent on food.

"We write today with concern regarding one such issue, which is the previous administration’s gross misappropriation of millions of dollars collected from our service members intended to pay for food and other nutrition costs," Mills wrote in the letter obtained by the Washington Examiner.

"Since this money is specifically labeled and allocated to the service members for subsistence, the fact that it is being utilized elsewhere is a break in trust that the service members have with their service components that are supposed to be ensuring their well-being," he added.

Mills signed the letter along with Reps. Derrick Van Orden (R-WI), Sam Graves (R-MO), Morgan Luttrell (R-TX), and Rich McCormick (R-GA).

"This is another example of the Biden administration’s failure to appropriately address service member quality of life issues that directly impact readiness, retention, and lethality," the letter states.
