SpaceX launched a double moon mission today (Feb. 26), sending a private lunar lander and a NASA orbiter to hunt for signs of water on Earth's nearest neighbor.

Empty space suits are sometimes thrown out of the International Space Station for experimental reasons, like this one in 2006.
Suitsat-1 was a Russian Orlan spacesuit fitted with a faint radio transmitter.
This is also sometimes done when a suit is damaged or retired.
