CAUGHT ON TAPE: Walz says country stolen by fascists and Nazis.

“I see the pundits on TV [saying] ‘what’s wrong with the Democratic Party?’ What’s wrong is our country is being stole by fascists and Nazis,” Walz appears to say, per the recording.

Walz—who has repeatedly championed unity with a campaign message of “One Minnesota”—said in a text message to supporters Wednesday that he won’t make a bid for the open U.S. Senate seat but is still exploring a possible third term as governor.

“If you’re ready to keep fighting for a future where no one is left behind and nobody gets told they don’t belong, stand with me and send a donation to power our work today,” the text said.

Alpha News reached out to Walz’s office for clarity on his comments but did not receive a response.

Pattern of Nazi-related accusations

Walz’s statement adds to a recent pattern of deploying Nazi-related accusations against his political opponents.

Last month during an appearance on MSNBC’s “The Rachel Maddow Show,” Walz claimed Tesla CEO Elon Musk performed a Nazi salute at President Donald Trump’s inauguration, saying, “Of course he did.”

Minnesota’s public schools will be required to teach third graders how to use non-binary gender pronouns in writing sentences.

The Minnesota Department of Education’s new K-12 English Language Arts (ELA) standards and benchmarks were adopted in 2023 and are scheduled for full implementation at the beginning of the 2025-26 school year. Reviewed and revised on a 10-year cycle, Minnesota’s ELA standards and benchmarks are organized into three strands: 1) reading, 2) writing, and 3) listening, speaking, viewing, and exchanging ideas.

Under the writing strand, a third-grade benchmark requires students to “use nouns (collective and irregular plural), verbs, frequently used adjectives and adverbs, conjunctions, prepositions, and pronouns (including reflexive pronouns and male, female and non-binary gender pronouns) [emphasis added] in simple and compound sentences authentically in writing.” (3.2.1.3)

DOGE Stimulus Checks Get Boost From Democrats.

Elon Musk's proposal to provide Americans with "dividend checks," financed by a share of the savings generated by the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), has garnered widespread public support, new polling finds.

67 percent of Americans support DOGE providing a one-time $5,000 check funded by the department's cost-saving efforts. Within this majority, 46 percent said they strongly supported the idea, 21 percent somewhat supported it, and 12 percent opposed it.

Scarlett Maguire, Director of J.L. Partners, said in a statement: "There is clear, cross-party support for the DOGE Dividend, with even Democrats strongly in favour of the idea. Americans believe that it would make citizens more likely to report first-hand examples of government waste and fraud."
