Ukraine’s European allies, set to gather in London on Sunday, rallied behind President Volodymyr Zelenskyy after Donald Trump threw him out of the White House and accused him of not being “ready” for peace with Russia.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is scheduled to meet UK Prime Minister Keith Starmer in London on Saturdayahead of a summit bringing together 12 European leaders in the British capital, Starmer’s office confirmed.
“The Prime Minister and President Zelenskyy will be meeting in Downing Street this afternoon,” a spokeswoman said, as British media reported the arrival of a plane bearing the Ukrainian flag at an airport north of London.
The meeting comes as Ukraine’s European allies prepare to rally behind Zelenskyy during Sunday’s summit, following his contentious encounter with U.S. President Donald Trump.
On Friday, Trump publicly criticised Zelenskyy and accused him of not being “ready” for peace with Russia, leading to the Ukrainian leader’s abrupt departure from the White House without signing an anticipated mineral deal.
The altercation in the Oval Office stunned observers, prompting most European leaders to express their support for Zelenskyy swiftly.The London summit is expected to reinforce solidarity with Ukraineamid ongoing tensions with Russia.
“You are not alone,” Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said.
British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, fresh off his own visit to the White House, said he had spoken to both Trump and Zelensky following the clash and vowed “unwavering support” for Kyiv.
