Insane drone footage shows the heart-stopping moment senior Al-Qaeda leader is taken out in US airstrike

Updated: 11:46 EST, 1 March 2025

Dramatic drone footage showed the moment a senior Al-Qaeda leader was taken out in a U.S. airstrike.

Muhammed Yusuf Ziya Talay, the senior military leader of the terrorist group Hurras al-Din (HaD) - an Al-Qaeda affiliate - was killed in an airstrike in Northwest Syria on February 23 by U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) forces.

CENTCOM released the heart-stopping video on Saturday morning that depicted the airstrike hitting the car with the Turkish national inside.

'The airstrike is part of CENTCOM's ongoing commitment, along with partners in the region, to disrupt and degrade efforts by terrorists to plan, organize, and conduct attacks against civilians and military personnel from the U.S., our allies, and our partners throughout the region and beyond,' the agency said in a post on X.

Gen. Michael Erik Kurilla, CENTCOM commander, said: 'As we have in the past, we will continue to relentlessly pursue these terrorists in order to defend our homeland, and U.S., allied, and partner personnel in the region and beyond.'

This is the third US airstrike against Hurras Al-Din in recent weeks, as CENTCOM forces killed Wasim Tahsin Bayraqdar, a senior leader, on February 21.

Muhammad Salah al-Zabir, another senior operative with the al-Qaeda affiliate, was killed in a January 30 airstrike.

CENTCOM released an image of the car Bayraqdar was traveling in at the time, as a gaping hole was left in its windshield.

He was killed while traveling on a highway near the village of Batabo in northwest Syria.

Bayraqdar was the brother of Syrian minister Samer Bayraqdar, The New Arab reported.

President Donald Trump celebrated the airstrike and the soldiers who executed the mission with a post to Truth Social.

'US forces conducted a precision airstrike against a member of al-Qaeda in Syria this weekend. The terrorist leader was working with al-Qaeda across the region,' he wrote.

'Congratulations to CENTCOM Commander Gen. Michael Kurilla, and the US warfighters who dealt Justice to another Jihadi threatening America and our allies and partners.'

Hurras al-Din was founded in February 2018, according to US-based intelligence agency SITE. The U.S. designated it a terrorist organization in 2019.

The group had been fighting with Syrian rebels in an attempt to topple Bashar al-Assad's regime.

The group dissolved in January and only then did they confirm that they were affiliated with al-Qaeda.

The US government offers financial rewards for information leading to the capture of its members.

CENTCOM was established in 1983, and 'covers the central area of the globe located between the European, Africa and Indo-Pacific Commands.'

This is a breaking news story. Updates to come.

Wreckage of a Russian drone with explosives found in Romania near the border with Moldova

March 1 2025, 07:22 AM

In Romania, the wreckage of a Russian drone with an active warhead was found near the border with Moldova.

Experts plan to detonate an explosive charge in a controlled manner to ensure the safety of the local population.

In Romania, near the border with Moldova, the wreckage of a Russian drone with an explosive charge was found.

This was reported by the Romanian Ministry of Defense, UNN reports.

The area where the wreckage was found is located about 500 meters from the Moldovan border. According to reports, no infrastructure facilities were damaged.

Romanian investigators found that the wreckage belonged to a Russian-made unmanned aerial vehicle. During the analysis, they found an active warhead, which they decided to destroy with a controlled explosion.

On February 17, Moldova recorded another violation of the country's airspace by two drones near the border of Ukraine.

Government spokesman Daniel Voda did not name the origin of the last two drones, but said the incursion occurred shortly before 23:00 local time, when Ukraine reported that Odesa region had come under Russian attack.

At least seven injured after drone attack on medical facility in Kharkiv

Sat 1 March 2025 at 7:41 am GMT-8==

At least seven people have been injured in a Russian overnight drone attack on Ukraine's Kharkiv region, medical officials said on Saturday.

The attack damaged a medical facility, residential buildings, shops and other civilian infrastructure facilities.

Rescuers and volunteers worked to clear debris after the assault. Local authorities report that one of the drones hit a three-story medical facility, causing a fire on the roof.

Rescuers evacuated at least 64 people from the building, including 56 patients and a child, officials said.

The Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office reports that two six-year-old children were among the wounded.

Regional governors reported further Russian attacks in Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk, Sumy, Odesa, Cherniv, Cherkasy and Kyiv, according to Ukrainian media.

154 Shahed-type drones were launched against Ukraine overnight, Ukraine's Air Force said, with 103 reportedly being shot down and 51 lost without causing damage.

The on-the-ground attacks come as Ukrainian President Volodymr Zelenskyy travels to the United Kingdom for talks with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer for talks ahead of a crisis summit of European leaders on Sunday.

RSF drone attacks cause power outage in Sudan’s Merowe

February 28, 2025

Repeated drone attacks by the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) targeted military and civilian infrastructure in Merowe, Northern State, early on Friday, causing a widespread power outage, the Sudanese army and eyewitnesses said.

The attacks, which have intensified this month, are part of a broader pattern of RSF drone strikes on military and civilian sites across several Sudanese states, including Gedaref in the east and Shendi and Atbara in the River Nile state.

The Sudanese army’s 19th Infantry Division said in a statement that RSF drones struck the division headquarters, Merowe International Airport, the Merowe Dam, and a local power station in “successive waves” early Friday.

The statement, seen by Sudan Tribune, said that the attacks aimed to destroy infrastructure.

Army anti-aircraft defences intercepted some of the drones, the military added.

Eyewitnesses in Merowe told Sudan Tribune the attacks began around 11 p.m. (2100 GMT) on Thursday and continued until about 5 a.m. on Friday.

They described the assault as the most intense of its kind, reporting loud explosions and heavy anti-aircraft fire.

Merowe, a strategically important city that hosts a major dam and the 19th Infantry Division headquarters, has been repeatedly targeted by RSF strikes, leading to previous infrastructure damage and power disruptions.

There was no immediate comment from the RSF.

The RSF seized control of the Merowe military airport briefly on April 15, 2023, the first day of the conflict, damaging aircraft and capturing some Egyptian Air Force personnel before the Sudanese army regained control.

The 22-month conflict between Sudan’s military and the RSF has created a humanitarian crisis, displacing more than 12 million people and leaving half the population, or 24.8 million, facing acute food insecurity.

UFO sighting in Fermanagh

2:38 pm February 28, 2025

AN ENNISKILLEN man has reported mysterious white and green lights which he saw dart over Enniskillen last week.

In recent years, the phenomenon of unidentified flying objects (UFOs) has captured the imagination of people worldwide, sparking intense debate and curiosity.

One particularly intriguing sighting occurred in Enniskillen recently, where a witness reported an unusual aerial event that has left him questioning what he saw.

The witness described a mysterious light darting across the sky at a unusually rapid pace.

“I looked away over in the distance because I saw this light. It wasn’t your normal light, it wasn’t a plane light, it was too bright and the next thing it shot across the sky at the speed of light,” he said.

“My friend has a drone and even the commercial one, the fastest it can fly is 100 miles per hour and I have gone through the video in slow frame. It shot right across and then it stopped and went up and then it went along.”

The local man said the light stopped and then a green light appeared beside it.

“No way was it a drone, the conditions weren’t good for it,” he said.

“It flew across far too fast, this green one came out of nowhere, it was just there and the white one was behind it, The green one disappeared behind the building and the white one flew off.”

The Enniskillen man explained that he has checked all the flight routes and there was no planes flying that route at that time.

“I sat down on Sunday and I couldn’t work out what it was and even the colour green, I have never seen that colour before,” he said.

“I thought, this is really odd and the speed it was flying, nothing could cover ground in that time.

“It was just odd and I am wondering if anyone else had seen it.”

The ‘Herald asked the man if he thought it could have been extraterrestrial life.

“I am an ex-military man and I was travelling down to Wales to do a course in the 80s and I saw something that the two guys in the car with me also saw but didn’t admit,” he explained.

“It was a big black triangle over in the distance. I could see the shape of it because I was going down slow. There was no noise, it was a starlit night and the stars were getting blacked out.

This thing was massive. I wouldn’t say I am a believer, but there is strange things going on out there.”

Former U.S. Air Force Man Shares Chilling UFO Story: Abduction and Alien Experiments

February 28, 2025

A former U.S. Air Force medic turned lawyer has broken his silence with an extraordinary claim: he was abducted by aliens and subjected to experiments during a 1977 camping trip.

Terry Lovelace, now 70, says the terrifying encounter at Devil’s Den State Park in Arkansas was one of several run-ins with extraterrestrial beings—a story that’s raising eyebrows and reigniting questions about UFOs.

Lovelace, who served at Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri and later worked as an assistant attorney general, kept his experiences under wraps for decades.

That changed after his 2012 retirement when he began sharing his tale, detailed in his book Incident at Devils Den: A True Story. His credible background adds a layer of intrigue to a narrative that blends the bizarre with the believable.

A Night of Terror in 1977

The centerpiece of Lovelace’s story unfolded on June 11, 1977. He and his friend Toby, also a medic, were camping in Devil’s Den State Park, hoping to photograph eagles.

Instead, they encountered something unearthly. Around their campfire, they spotted three bright lights forming a triangle in the sky.

The lights moved, rotated, and descended, revealing a massive triangular UFO—each side as long as a city block—hovering just 30 feet above them.

“It was like nothing I’d ever seen,” Lovelace said in a recent interview.

“Then the world went silent, and fear took over.”

What happened next is a blur. Lovelace recalls waking up hours later, badly burned and dehydrated, with no memory of the intervening time.

He and Toby were hospitalized for two nights at Whiteman, treated for severe burns.

Soon after, the Air Force’s Office of Special Investigations (OSI) stepped in, interrogating the pair and searching Lovelace’s home and car for evidence, including rumored photos of the craft.

Under hypnosis ordered by the OSI, Lovelace relived the nightmarish event, cementing its reality in his mind.

The Implant That VanishedThe story took an even stranger turn in 2012.

After a fall, Lovelace visited the VA Hospital for an X-ray, which uncovered a small, square metal object with two wires in his thigh and a flower-shaped anomaly in his calf.

Doctors were stumped—there was no scar or medical history to explain the objects.

“I knew then it was connected to 1977,” Lovelace said.

“The memories came rushing back.”

He planned to have the implant removed, but it disappeared before he could act. Lovelace claims an alien hybrid visited him at night, warning him to stay quiet.

A follow-up X-ray confirmed the metal object was gone, though the flower-shaped mark remains. The X-rays, he says, are public for anyone to see—a tantalizing, if controversial, piece of evidence.

A Pattern of Encounters

The 1977 incident wasn’t Lovelace’s only brush with the unknown. As a child in 1957, he saw a blue laser beam and a triangular object while camping.

In 1975, at Whiteman, he and Toby watched three UFOs emerge from a black prism, leading to another alleged abduction. These moments, Lovelace says, form a thread running through his life.

“I didn’t choose this,” he said.

“But it’s part of who I am.”

A Credible Voice, a Divisive Tale

Lovelace’s resume bolsters his claims. After leaving the Air Force in 1979, he built a stable life as a defense attorney and assistant attorney general, married for 44 years with a family.

Yet, with Toby deceased and no witnesses beyond his own account, the alien story hinges on his word.

The implant’s disappearance before analysis only deepens the skepticism, though UFO enthusiasts point to the X-rays as compelling.

Lovelace remains steadfast, sharing his story not to convince but to inform.

“People can decide for themselves,” he said.

“I just want the truth out there.”

The EXTRATERRESTRIAL Influence on ANCIENT PERU

February 28, 2025

Was Nazca, Peru once a hub for interstellar civilizations visiting the Earth?

With its mysterious ruins and strange lines stretching across the landscape, Nazca has already captured the intrigue of many people.

But elongated skulls, tales of ancient star beings, and depictions of three-fingered people on pottery could suggest the existence of an extraterrestrial species guiding their civilization.

The strongest evidence of an ET presence in the Nazca region may come from analyzing a mummified humanoid named Maria.

Could all of this be proof of an interstellar influence upon the people of Nazca?

Mystery of mechanic who vanished after leaving note declaring he'd boarded alien spaceship

15:10, 1 MAR 2025

On a stormy November night back in 1980, the small town of Duncan in Canada was struck by an unfathomable mystery when Granger Taylor, 32, a local mechanical wizard, mysteriously vanished, leaving his close friends and family in utter disbelief. Acclaimed for his brilliant mind and skill at refurbishing complex machinery, Taylor was considered exceptionally smart by his family and peers.

Having left school to pursue hands-on work in nearby mechanical shops, he soon became known for his incredible knack for repairing pretty much anything that came his way.

Yet, Taylor harboured a remarkable belief - he was convinced he had ongoing communication with extraterrestrial beings.

His sister told Vice that, in the run-up to his unexplained disappearance, Taylor had become accustomed to daily doses of acid.

It was within this hallucinogenic haze that he constructed a full-scale mock-up of a flying saucer from parts scavenged from the local rubbish tip.

Then, as sudden as a flash, he was gone, but not without leaving a note for his family.

His bizarre note unveiled plans to embark on a 42-month expedition on an alien craft, fuelled by recurrent dreams forecasting an epic space odyssey across the cosmos before returning home, reports the Mirror.

Taylor's goodbye message to his parents read: "Dear Mother and Father, I have gone away to walk aboard an alien spaceship, as recurring dreams assured a 42-month interstellar voyage to explore the vast universe, then return.

"I am leaving behind all my possessions to you as I will no longer require the use of any. Please use the instructions in my will as a guide to help. Love, Granger."

It was only six years later that any trace of Granger was found, when forestry workers came across an explosion site with a ruined vehicle near the farm where the Taylor family resided.

The police confirmed that the registration of the demolished vehicle matched that of Taylor's Datsun pickup.

Human bone fragments and a piece of clothing, believed to be part of Taylor's shirt, were also discovered at the scene, but no full body was ever recovered.

A coroner's inquest concluded that Taylor must have died in the explosion that destroyed the vehicle, hypothesising that he had been transporting dynamite in his truck when it exploded.

However, it remained unclear whether this was deliberate or accidental. Taylor often carried dynamite in his truck, as it was frequently used in the area for tree stump removal, and he was skilled in its use.

The reasons behind his disappearance that night and the note left for his family continue to be a mystery, with no clear explanation for what happened or why.

'Alien' mummies have been proven to be 100% real in shock breakthrough, says scientist

Updated: 05:11 EST, 1 March 2025

Scientists probing 'alien mummies' in Peru have shared new details they say prove the specimens are '100 percent real.'

Dozens of these mummified bodies were discovered in the Nazca desert by journalist and ufologist Jaime Maussan, which has led to years of investigations to uncover the truth.

Now, the team says they have found human-like features throughout three cavities in the skull of a specimen named Antonio.

Dr José Zalce, former director of the Mexican Navy Medical Department, and his team used a small camera in the investigation, finding remnants of dried-out tissue and 'well-preserved anatomical structures' throughout the skull.

Dr Zalce told DailyMail.com that the most striking discovery was the second and third molars observed in the oral cavity.

'These structures are practically identical to those of humans,' he said.

When examining the skull, Dr Zalce found 'no significant differences from a human,' such as the bone structure, bony eye sockets and mouth.

The team found that the tissues and bones did not feature any artificial materials or modifications, saying this proves Antonio is an authentic corpse.

Dr Zalce said he has analyzed 21 of the strange bodies, finding 'fingerprints, bone wear, dental formations, muscular features and internal organs.

The mystery over the mummies began in 2017 when Maussan and a team of self-proclaimed paranormal researchers said they found strange three-fingered 'mummified humanoids' with elongated skulls.

The body was found covered in white powder, which the team said was used to preserve the remains.

Five years later, the tiny beings were paraded through Mexico's Congress, where Maussan argued his case and did so on two occasions.

During the second meeting, he brought in a string of doctors who all said the bodies were those of real, once-living organisms - some experts claimed to have studied five similar specimens over four years.

However, scientists outside this group have also studied two mummies and found different results.

Forensic archaeologist Flavio Estrada said claims the objects came from another world are 'totally false.'

'The conclusion is simple: they are dolls assembled with bones of animals from this planet, with modern synthetic glues, therefore, they were not assembled during pre-Hispanic times,' he said in January 2024.

'They are not extraterrestrials; they are not aliens.'

However, a former Colorado prosecutor and current defense attorney, who has examined one of the mummies, is a true believer.

Joshua McDowell told DailyMail.com: 'The bodies studied by Estrada were not related to any specimen that we have studied. They were folk dolls made to look like [mummies] confiscated at the airport.'

Antonio was unveiled to the world in December 2024, showing it had three fingers, an elongated head and small, slanted eyes. It is unclear why researchers probed this specimen over others, but it was likely due to it being the most recent discovery.

'[Antonio] is approximately 5.5 to 5.7 feet tall,' said Dr Zalce. 'He is about 1,500 years old and in a developmental stage comparable to that of a young adult.'

The researchers also found that the mummy's teeth showed signs of wear and discoloration. Antonio had between 28 and 32 teeth, they said.

A previous investigation of Antonio's mouth uncovered it several teeth had amalgam fillings.

This type of filling is made from a mixture of metals, including mercury, silver, copper and tin. That's compared to the more common tooth-colored composite fillings today, which use resin, glass and ceramic particles.

'The same specimen can be observed with a bone structure very similar to a [human], Dr Zalce said.

He added that with the exception of of it having three fingers, each with more joints than what is found among humans.

'Aside from the tridactylism [three fingers] and greater bone robustness—both visible anatomical differences—there is not much else that distinguishes it from a normal modern human,' said Dr Zalce.

Dr David Ruiz Vela, former president of Peru's Medical Association, was the first to analyze Antonio, saying it had human-like organs with a visible brain structure.

He also claimed Antonio had a stab wound in his chest that caused its broken ribs and perforated organs.

'He has a stab that broke his ribs on the left side of his chest, penetrating the chest, abdomen, liver and completely perforating him inside,' Dr Vela said.

Jois Mantilla, a journalist who has become dedicated to proving the mummies are real, said that 'more will be revealed in 2025' about the creatures, specifically the secret place for where the bodies have been recovered.

The location has been kept from the public to keep looters at bay, researchers have said.
