Fox News host Kimberly Guilfoyle plans to leave the cable news channel to join her boyfriend, Donald Trump Jr., on the campaign trail, though the reason for her departure isn’t clear.

Reports that “The Five” co-host was leaving to work on campaigns circulated early Friday, suggesting it would be uncomfortable for her to remain there while aiding one or more political efforts.

Then, in the afternoon, a network spokesperson emailed reporters a terse statement: “FOX News has parted ways with Kimberly Guilfoyle.” A spokesperson for Guilfoyle later said that she has not yet left the network but is negotiating the terms of her departure.
