Since 1947 the FBI has been involved in UFO (Unidentified Flying Object) investigations now referred to a UAP (unidentified anomalous phenomena.) investigations
The infamous Roswell New Mexico incidentbegan FBI investigations that are ongoing and still many documents have redactions when released to the public all of these years later.
On July 8, 1947, the FBI Dallas Field Office sent a teletype regarding a “flying disc” that resembled a high altitude weather balloon found near Roswell, New Mexico.

A memo appeared to be a briefing for then newly-elected President Eisenhower on a secret committee created to exploit a recovery of an extra-terrestrial aircraft and cover-up this work from public examination.
An Air Force investigation was launched and released determined the Operation Majestic 12 document to be a fake.
Others speculate it was a government coverup of disinformation to throw the public off about FBI investigations. Some of the Majestic 12 classified documents are stoll held in the Reagan library.
Amid the now known Pentagon's years-longprobes into the unexplained and unidentified, the FBI has been quietly running its own secret office investigating so called "unidentified anomalous phenomena" since the Roswell New Mexico incident in some form or fashion and many believe as part of a black budget.
In 2020, the Pentagon acknowledged the existence of a program similar to the AATIP called the Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon Task Force (UAPTF).
The unclassified, but previously unacknowledged, program was made public during a June 2020 hearing of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence.

Now its been reported that a "secret group of agents who investigate UFOs, or “unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP)” as they call it, are worried they will be caught in the crossfire as an imminent FBI purge hangs over their heads."
The Trump administration is expected to target specific FBI agents who also worked on the Jan. 6 case, some of whom are UAP Working Group agents.
Agents across the bureau have been ordered to fill out a questionnaire detailing their involvement in the Capitol attack investigation.
According to Politico, the UAP working group is an "informal collection of agents" whose existence has never been disclosed and has been active for more than a year as yet another undisclosed FBI UFO working group.
In a statement to Politico, the FBI confirmed the existence of the office but refused to comment further, including to say how many members it has or how long it has been investigating UAPs in an organized manner.
"The FBI investigates Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena when there is potential for a violation of federal law — particularly unlawful acts that could adversely affect our national interests — and to gather, share, and analyze intelligence to combat security threats facing the US," the bureau told Politico.
With Trump's swiftly-unfolding plans to purge the government of anyone who doesn't fall in line, it's impossible to say whether the FBI's "X-Files stylr" office will continue to exist, but the acknowledgment by some of the existence of such an office is proof that the FBI continues its course since Roswell of investigations of UFO or UAP phenomenon but as is status quo, "in the dark."
All the while, the Defense Department this month confirmed it is investigating claims made by government contractor Jake Barber on NewsNation that he helped the military retrieve UFO technology.
Investigative journalist Ross Coulthart, who interviewed Barber at length about his background and experiences, says the development could lead to a greater understanding of UFOs, or Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAPs).
That’s if the government is forthcoming with its findings, the truth is out there, but will the public ever really know?

We're 8 days away from disaster: a new teaser for the Alien: Earth series has been unveiled

FX has unveiled another teaser for Alien: Earth, this time timed to coincide with the South by Southwest (SXSW) Media Festival.
Here's What We Know
The authors continued the New teaser for "Alien: Earth" shows the arrival of the Xenomorphs on our planet to Earth, but unlike the previous teaser viewers were not shown Xenomorph, but warned that the disaster is only 8 days away and will happen in Austin (Texas).
Recall, the events of "Alien: Earth" will unfold in 2120 in parallel with the events of the film Prometheus.
According to scrappy information, the story of "Earth" will begin with the fall on the planet spaceship xenomorphs, which will scatter over a vast territory and begin to wreak havoc.
This is confirmed by the capacious slogan of the series: "The perfect planet for the perfect organism".
Filming process is led by director Noah Hawley, the author of the famous series "Fargo".
Sydney Chandler will play the lead role in the series, and one of the lead writers of Alien: Earth is Ridley Scott, the author of the first films in the series.
When We Can Expect It
Alien: Earth will premiere in the summer of 2025 on streaming service Hulu.
