how would EU or (God forbid) US troops in Ukraine be any different than NATO in Ukraine? Russia would never allow it… it's not a real offer.

it's like high school with these folks. or maybe elementary school.

when the US says "nope", they will run around and say POTUS is blocking peace.

but, all one needs to do is keep asking why the EU needs the US blessing or involvement? if they are truly in charge, then they can handle it without us. if they need us before they can broker a peace, then why are they demanding to lead?

this will just hasten the public's perception to the truth - which is that the EU truly is irrelevant. it's irrelevance is just being exposed now, and they are freaking out about it.

POTUS should refuse to say "no" or to say "yes". just keep asking them to let us know when they've brokered a peace with Russia. until then, we'll keep bringing troops home and cutting off payments.
