At 10:15 a.m., while sitting in his car, Crusius opened his laptop, went on the imageboard 8chan, and started a thread titled, "ITS TIME". Accompanied with text, he accidentally uploaded a PDF file of a discipline letter sent by his college for attending a class while drunk. Five minutes later, he posted a reply in the thread and uploaded the PDF file of his manifesto.

The F8U-3 program was cancelled with five aircraft built. Three aircraft flew during the test program, and, along with two other airframes, were transferred to NASA for atmospheric testing, as the Crusader III was capable of flying above 95% of the Earth's atmosphere. NASA pilots flying at NAS Patuxent River routinely intercepted and defeated U.S. Navy Phantom IIs in mock dogfights, until complaints from the Navy put an end to the harassment.

NYC FBI boss forced to resign after defiant email to staff amid Trump purge of Jan 6 prosecutors

The head of the FBI in New York has been forced to resign after several acts of defiance against the new Trump administration.

Veteran agent James Dennehy had told his colleagues to 'dig in' against Trump's efforts to purge prosecutors who investigated and pursued January 6 defendants.

He backed bureau leaders who refused to turn over the names of anybody who investigated the 2021 attack on the US Capitol.

Dennehy also drew the ire of Attorney General Pam Bondi on Thursday after her highly anticipated Jeffrey Epstein files dump was criticized for failing to reveal anything new about the pedophile billionaire.

She accused the FBI of failing to hand over thousands of pages of documents relating to Epstein and his crimes and gave the office a 5pm Friday deadline to hand over everything it had.

In a defiant email to his colleagues on Monday seen by the New York Times, Dennehy revealed he was told late on Friday he must turn in his resignation.

'Late Friday, I was informed that I needed to put my retirement papers in today, which I just did,' he wrote in the email.

'I was not given a reason for this decision. Regardless, I apologize to all of you for not being able to fulfill my commitment to you.'

He added: 'We will not bend. We will not falter. We will not sacrifice what is right for anything or anyone. I've been told many times in my life, when you find yourself in a hole, sometimes it's best to quit digging. Screw that.

'I will never stop defending this joint. I'll just do it willingly and proudly from outside the wire.'

Back in January, when acting FBI leaders Brian Driscoll and Robert Kissane refused to name their colleagues involved in the January 6 investigations, Dennehy came to their defense and told his own staff to 'dig in.'

He praised the duo for upholding the bureau's commitment to independence.

Ultimately, the FBI caved and turned over the information to the Trump administration.
