Minnesota woman finds new hope in MAHA for holding Big Pharma accountable.

A Minnesota woman has been on a mission to hold Big Pharma accountable. Kim Witczak believes the MAHA movement could make that happen.

Witczak considers herself an “accidental advocate.” Alpha News first spoke to Witczak in 2022 about her husband’s death. Witczak’s husband, Woody, died in 2003—just five weeks after being prescribed Zoloft.

In speaking about the MAHA movement, Witczak explained, “Hope is one of the things I’ve held on to since Woody’s death in 2003. It’s the hope that we finally feel like we have somebody that might be in the office that will help get to the bottom of the disasters that we’ve had at the FDA for a long time. So I feel hopeful for the first time that we actually have somebody that has the right intention and will actually do something about it.”

'He'd be terrible': Dem strategist doesn't hesitate to shoot down idea of Walz 2028 ticket.

Former strategist Dan Turrentine immediately dismissed the possibility of Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz being a formidable 2028 candidate.

Walz told The New Yorker in an interview published on Sunday that he would run in 2028 if the conditions and his “skill set” were right. When journalist Mark Halperin asked Turrentine on “The Morning Meeting” whether he was “super psyched” regarding a potential Walz 2028 presidential run, the former Democratic strategist promptly said he was not, basing his opinion on the Minnesota governor’s 2024 vice presidential run that crashed and burned.

Biden aide admits admin gaslit America.

A top staffer in the Biden White House told Puck News on Wednesday that the Biden-Harris administration was "gaslighting" Americans.

Michael LaRosa, who served as a longtime press secretary to former first lady Jill Biden, also admitted to Puck News that Biden’s age was an “issue,” and claimed that Biden’s staff was “scared to death” of the former president participating in unrehearsed or unscripted interviews. Though most Americans and several Democrats repeatedly raised concerns over Biden’s age and cognitive fitness during his time in office, his administration frequently denied these claims.

“The president’s team was scared to death of impromptu, unscripted, unrehearsed, unpracticed, unchoreographed anything,” LaRosa told the outlet. “They couldn’t compete in the attention economy. They didn’t have any idea how. And they didn’t have the vessel in Biden, who would have done anything. He loves TV. He loves doing stuff. It was the orbit that didn’t trust the candidate.”

Social Security Administration announces more than $800 million in savings.

The Social Security Administration has identified $800 million in cost savings for fiscal 2025.

The savings come from the SSA reevaluating contracts and grants, payroll, information technology, consolidating office space, and making policy changes to travel and printing.

“For too long, SSA has operated on autopilot,” acting SSA Commissioner Lee Dudek said in a statement. “We have spent billions annually doing the same things the same way, leading to bureaucratic stagnation, inefficiency, and a lack of meaningful service improvements. It is time to change just that.”

The agency found the bulk of its savings from placing a hiring freeze on SSA Disability Determination Services and reducing overtime pay. A total of $550 million was recovered.

The SSA's cancellation of nonessential contracts reduced the budget of the agency's Information Technology Systems by $150 million.

Another $15 million in contracts and $15 million in grants were also canceled.

The SSA also made SSA-1099 and SSA-1042 notices available online, leading to 5.4 million customers opting out of paper notices, a measure avoiding $3 million in costs. The agency also reported saving $28 million by moving to centrally print and mail notices rather than having front-line staff print and mail them locally.

The SSA also canceled over 60 leases, which will yield $4 million in annual rent savings.

Poll Reveals Democrats’ Approval Rating: ‘Off A Cliff’.

Democratic lawmakers have increasingly expressed concern over the Democratic Party's struggle to oppose the Trump Administration's Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). Despite numerous rallies, Democrats have failed to counter the administration's proposed spending cuts. The challenges come as recent polling data has revealed that only 31 percent of Americans view the Democrat Party favorably, while 57 percent hold an unfavorable opinion.

When your party's main mission is to destroy the country from within and their political opponents, maybe it's time to change strategy? They don't seem too concerned about it.
