About revoking security clearance(s):

All the years I spent in the U.S. Navy with a high security clearance taught me that need to know was the most important prerequisite for getting, maintaining and keeping any clearance. How can anyone possibly justify these has-beens having any NEED to know. If anything, it's only a desire to know.

Keeping your security clearance is not justified because you have a desire to know–you must have a need to know. Why aren't any of the pseudo-good-guys in the news saying this? Am I off here?
