The ten Democrats who bravely voted with Republicans to censure Al Green should be commended for doing the right thing. Bravo!

Ami Bera of California

Ed Case of Hawaii

Jim Costa of California

Laura Gillen of New York

Jim Himes of Connecticut

Chrissy Houlahan of Pennsylvania

Marcy Kaptur of Ohio

Jared Moskowitz of Florida

Marie Gluesenkamp Perez of Washington

Tom Suozzi of New York.

“I don’t mind being one of 10 Democrats, there’s a deeper principle at stake here, which is reverence for this institution,” Himes said after the vote, adding that lawmakers need to act “with the decorum and with the civility that says to the world that we are a serious country.”

“I have no love for Donald Trump, but I do have reverence for the Office of the President,” he told CNN’s Pamela Brown.

Lawmakers said anger is growing among Democrats about Green’s antics — which they believe have consumed headlines and distracted from more important issues.

“People are pissed,” one Democratic lawmaker said, speaking on the condition of anonymity to discuss internal party dynamics. The lawmaker added that Green’s antics were viewed as “selfish” after party leaders made clear they wanted their members to act somberly.

So, the Democrats had me believing that DOGE and the Trump administration are cutting benefits for veterans.I called the VA & was told that is completely false and was sent this statement via e-mail from VA Secretary Doug Collins.

I was ensured that NO VETERAN IS LOSING BENEFITS, but the days of kicking the can down the road are over. We owe America’s Veterans solutions!

Either Doug Collins or the Democrat party is lying. Who do you trust?
