‘We thought the war had started again’: Israeli killings in Gaza resume as ceasefire hangs by a thread

The Israeli army has resumed random shelling and airstrikes against Palestinians in Gaza, marking the latest Israeli attempt to sabotage the ceasefire following Netanyahu's violation of the agreement by stopping the flow of humanitarian aid.

On Monday afternoon, two friends, Khaled al-Shaer, 60, and Musa Qishta, 59, were walking toward their destroyed homes in the city of Rafah near the Egyptian border with Gaza. They had gone out for a stroll to pass the time until that day’s Ramadan fast ended at sunset.

When they arrived at the Rafah Municipality Stadium in the center of Rafah, they came into view of Israeli tanks stationed near the border. The tanks opened fire.

Muhannad Qishta, Musa’s cousin, says that Musa had wanted to get closer to his home and see what had become of it.

“While they were crossing the street, the tank saw them and opened heavy fire, but it did not hit them,” Qishta told Mondoweiss. “The two men tried to escape the gunfire, so they fled to an abandoned UNRWA school nearby.”

Due to their old age, they could not run long distances, but as soon as they tried to escape, the Israeli army sent a quadcopter to chase after them.

“The army had fun killing them in cold blood,” Qishta said.

After they reached the school, the Israeli drone caught up with the two men and opened fire directly, mortally wounding them and leaving them to bleed to death in the school courtyard.

Several hours later, a search party made up of the men’s family members was dispatched to look for them when they didn’t show up in time for iftar. They found their bodies in the school. Musa Qistha, one of the murdered men, did not have children in his life, a relative told Mondoweiss. He adopted his nephew after his father was killed throughout the war, taking responsibility for his care. Now his nephew has been orphaned again.

Bloody scenes like these have returned to Gaza following the end of the first phase of the ceasefire agreement and Israel’s halt of humanitarian aid into the Strip. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the ceasefire would not continue without the release of more Israeli captives, stating that there would be “no free lunch” for Palestinians.

Following the Israeli PM’s cutting off of humanitarian supplies to Gaza, Israeli attacks on Palestinians in Gaza’s border areas witnessed a sharp increase on Sunday as the army began firing artillery shells and carrying out drone strikes across Gaza, killing four people on Sunday. The Ministry of Health in Gaza said in a statement on Monday that another five people were killed and 21 were injured.

Trump sends shockwaves with plans to implement new travel ban on Muslim nations

President Donald Trump is considering implementing a new travel ban on Muslim nations in the coming weeks.

Reuters first reported that Trump is mulling a new order that would impact Afghans and Pakistanis.

It comes after Trump's ban during his first term that kept travelers from seven total Muslim nations from entering the United States, which the Supreme Court upheld.

The president said on the campaign trail that he would expand his travel ban to include people from Gaza in the wake of the Hamas terror attack on Israel.

Trump is expected to announce several new executive orders later this afternoon as he marches full steam ahead during his first 100 days.

Trump's Demand to Ban Masks at Protests Echoes ADL's Demand Just One Day Prior

Is the Trump administration now working with the Anti-Defamation League?

President Trump's demand on Tuesday to ban masks at "illegal" anti-Israel protests came just one day after Anti-Defamation League CEO Jonathan Greenblatt issued the same demand at the ADL's "Never is Now" conference.

Elise Stefanik, Trump's UN Ambassador, spoke at the ADL's conference on Monday and heaped praise on Jonathan Greenblatt for his "tremendous leadership."

Stefanik was ready to share Trump's statement announcing the "illegal protest" crackdown mere seconds after it was posted as you can tell from the low "likes" counter on his Truth Social post.

Audit the Fort Knox Gold and the Federal Reserve. Then Seize the FED.

Let’s begin by understanding why the audit of the gold at Fort Knox and audits of the Federal Reserve Bank in Washington and of the New York FED have been delayed.

James Rickards has proposed a limited hangout audit of Fort Knox. Rickards is a consultant to the CIA and the Pentagon, main bulwarks of the Deep State. Secretary of the Treasury Scott Bessent said it would be a waste of time to audit Fort Knox, because we know the gold is there.

Nonsense. Most of the gold was stolen. An audit of the FED in Washinton would reveal that Bankers sold the FED $7 trillion in fraudulent securities which kept them from going to jail. Auditing the accounts and transactions of the NY FED would reveal the fact that trillions of dollars of our money has been systematically shipped overseas by the people who believe they own our government.

We need to distinguish between the two groups who have been oppressing us and our parents and their parents before them.

David Rothkopf was the managing Director of Kissinger Associates. He wrote Superclass in 2008 in which he told us that our Western world is ruled by 30 Families and their 6,000 Minions which works out to about one Minion per million people. Henry Kissinger was a Minion. He represented the Rothschilds and the Rockefellers who are two of the thirty ruling families.

Catherine Austin Fitts, the former Housing Commissioner who was run out of DC for being honest and outspoken, said American taxpayers were robbed of $50 trillion since the 1990s. A colleague of hers, Dr Mark Skidmore has proven from US government websites that $21 trillion went missing from two federal agencies DOD (Department of Defense) and HUD (Housing and Urban Development) from 1998 to 2015.

Rickards in a recent article said, “The gold is at Fort Knox and that we should raise its value from $42 an ounce to $3,000 an ounce. This is called a reset. It would give us almost $800 billion to spend without a need for more debt.

It would be far better to channel the anger of the public at the 30 Families and their Minions so we can empower ourselves to seize the Federal Reserve Bank and to issue a non-interest-bearing currency like President Lincoln’s Greenbacks. If we had Greenbacks, there would be no national debt of $36.5 trillion and we would not have lost 3 to 4 million Americans to starvation in the 1930s. Tens of millions starved to death around the world in the 1920s and 30s.

I have defined a Depression as a period in time when Unpayable Debts are cancelled en masse. Debts can be cancelled in foreclosure or in bankruptcy court. This can drastically reduce the money supply, because we are not allowed to have money unless we borrow from a banker who creates it for us in the form of a checking account deposit. Or, if we need paper money, our government has to go into debt, so the Federal Reserve create it.

That destruction of credit and money in foreclosure and in bankruptcy court in the Great Depression shrank the US money supply from 1929 to 1933 by 31%. We simply did not have enough money to do business. If we had Greenbacks and the US Treasury seized the FED, the Treasury could have created both paper money and checking account money in the 1930s so nobody would have starved to death.

That idea was proposed by Professor Irving Fisher in the 1920s and was called 100% money. To do that the Treasury would have to seize the FED and to ban our present-day fractional reserve system which allows the banker to loan out $100 for every $10 in deposits. This allows him to charge us interest on money he creates out of thin air. It transfers all wealth from those of who create things and offer services to the bankers who just create debts.

If we do not solve certain critical problems over the next 4 years, we might not survive.

EU and Brazil sign international agreement to fight organised crime and terrorism

The European Union (EU) and Brazil have signed an agreement that strengthens the partnership between Europol and Brazilian law enforcement, enabling the exchange of operational information. This milestone will bolster joint efforts in tackling serious organised crime and terrorism, reinforcing security on both sides of the Atlantic.

The agreement was signed today by Commissioner for Home Affairs and Migration, Magnus Brunner, and the Minister of Justice and Public Security of Brazil, Ricardo Lewandowski, in the presence of Europol’s Executive Director, Catherine De Bolle.

Brazil has been a key partner for Europol since 2017, with a strong record of operational cooperation across various crime areas, including drug trafficking, cybercrime and human trafficking. This agreement will further strengthen law enforcement collaboration, helping to disrupt criminal networks and combat transnational crime more effectively.

Brazil is the first country in Latin America to sign such an agreement with the EU. The agreement is now subject to the European Parliament’s consent before its final implementation. Europol stands ready to support its full execution, further deepening operational engagement with Brazil in the fight against serious organised crime.

Commissioner for Internal Affairs and Migration, Magnus Brunner, said:

‘International cooperation is a cornerstone of our work to strengthen the internal security of the EU and our partners. This agreement will provide us with the opportunity to enhance information exchange with a key partner, Brazil, and in turn increase Europol's support to Member States' cross-border criminal investigations.’

Europol’s Executive Director, Catherine De Bolle, added:

‘This agreement marks a new chapter in our trusted partnership with Brazil. By strengthening our operational cooperation, we are enhancing our ability to tackle the most pressing security threats together. Europol remains committed to working hand in hand with the Brazilian authorities to combat serious and organised crime.’

Cooperation with non-EU countries is a crucial component of Europol’s strategy to fight serious and organised crime. By strengthening operational ties with trusted international partners, Europol enhances the ability of EU law enforcement authorities to tackle transnational threats. Agreements like the one signed with Brazil reinforce Europol’s global network, allowing for a more coordinated approach to combating criminal networks that operate across borders.

Revealed: The 36 companies who are responsible for HALF the world's carbon emissions

A new study shows that just a handful of the world's wealthiest and most powerful organisations are responsible for the overwhelming majority of all pollution.

Just 36 companies produced more than half of the world's carbon emissions in 2023, according to a report by Carbon Majors.

The top five polluters alone - Saudi Aramco, Coal India, CHN Energy, National Iranian Oil Co., and Jinneng Group - produced 7.4 billion tonnes of CO2.

This is equivalent to 17.4 per cent of all global emissions.

Experts have called the findings 'truly alarming', and are calling for the companies to take responsibilty for their sky-high emissions.

Tzeporah Berman, Founder and Co-chair of the Fossil Fuel Non-Proliferation Treaty Initiative, says: 'It is truly alarming that the largest fossil fuel companies continue to increase their emissions in the face of worsening natural disasters caused by climate change, disregarding scientific evidence that these emissions are harming us all.

'It is clearer than ever that dirty private companies, driven by profits and business as usual, will never choose to self-regulate.'

Scroll down to see the full list of the 36 most polluting companies.

Saudi Aramco is the Saudi Arabian state-owned oil and gas producer and the largest fossil fuel company in the world, producing 11.5 million barrels of oil per day.

This was followed by Coal India, the largest government-owned coal producer in the world, which was responsible for 1,548 million tonnes of C02 - 3.68 per cent of the global total.

Following closely in third was CNH Energy, also known as China Energy, which created 1,533 million tonnes of emissions - 3.65 per cent of the global total.

The fourth and fifth biggest polluters were the National Iranian Oil Company and China's state-owned Jinneng group which were responsible for 1,262 million and 1,228 million tonnes of CO2 respectively.

The most polluting British-owned company was BP, which created 347 million tonnes of CO2 emissions, making it the 25th biggest polluter.

Christiana Figueres, Chair of The Earthshot Prize Foundation, says: 'The carbon majors are keeping the world hooked on fossil fuels with no plans to slow production.

'While states drag their heels on their Paris Agreement commitments, state-owned companies are dominating global emissions—ignoring the desperate needs of their citizens.'

State-owned companies were by far the biggest sources of CO2 emissions, making up 16 of the 20 biggest emitters in 2023.

If Trump Won't Sic DOGE on the Federal Reserve, What Is the Point? - Global Research

Global Research

Presidents come and go.

Some die in office; some retire into the lap of luxury and build monuments to their own greatness using public money; some get shot in the head by magic bullets.

So where is DOGE?

The Department of Education and even USAID are low-hanging fruit compared to the Fed.

When the dust settles, if DOGE never takes on the Fed, failing to do so might turn out worse than useless if the public is led to believe the essential corruption infesting the government has been rooted out when, in fact, only the leaves of the putrid tree have been pruned.

"Everyone go back to sleep now, we cut out the child-tranny budget items," the sirens will sing as they try to lull the MAGA base back into complacency, satiated by the anti-DEI culture war slop the multinational bankers are always happy to dole out if it means they slip the noose yet again.

The money machine and the interests that run it are, in the final analysis, the fount from which spring the child trannyism and the endless wars and the biomedical terror that have defined the early part of this century. Those are merely the downstream manifestations of an unaccountable and rapacious permanent shadow-state with an endless cash supply at its fingertips.

Why are we still at war in Syria?

The tempo of lethal US airstrikes — not all against ISIS — continue apace, despite murky Washington strategy

On Sunday, U.S. Central Command announced that it had recently killed two people linked to Al-Qaeda in Idlib, Syria. One of the men, Wasim Tahsin Bayraqdar, was reportedly the brother of a current Syrian government minister. U.S. Central Command identified the other man as a “senior military leader of al-Qaeda affiliate Hurras al-Din.”

This is just the latest in a series of strikes carried out by the U.S. on an array of Syrian targets since the fall of dictator Bashar al-Assad in December. It’s the fourth to specifically target a member of Hurras al–Din since the organization announced it would cease operations in January.

Lethal targets have also included 75 anti-ISIS strikes in the immediate wake of Assad’s overthrow, a top ISIS leader in an area formerly controlled by Assad’s regime, a dozen fighters at an ISIS camp, and an attack on what the U.S. military says are Iranian-backed militias just over the border in Iraq. The military has used a combination of F-15 fighter jets, B-52 bombers, and A-10 air support aircraft to carry these missions out.

To say that the tempo of U.S. military attacks and raids have not let up despite the leadership shakeup in Damascus would be an understatement. The forces may have originally moved into the region due to the civil war against Assad’s government after 2014, but the anti-ISIS justification (among others) has kept the missiles flying and boots on the ground.

“It’s a travesty that even after the fall of Assad, the primary way the U.S. engages with Syria is not through any diplomatic presence but through air strikes,” said Adam Weinstein, Middle East fellow at the Quincy Institute, noting that there are reasons why the new leadership of Syria has not pushed back on these military operations, yet. “The new government in Damascus, seeing these groups as potential rivals, is probably content with their elimination.”

Given that many Islamist groups like Hurras al-Din have voluntarily dissolved under the new rebel government, it is unclear where they now fit into Washington’s justification for continued operations other than their old Al Qaeda/ISIS connections. The new ruling faction, Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham, is also a former Al-Qaeda affiliate but its leader, Ahmed Hussein al-Sharaa, was removed from a terrorist designation list by the Biden administration in December in an apparent gesture of goodwill. Perhaps, as Weinstein described, the U.S. is now doing al-Sharaa a favor.

Nevertheless, after Assad’s overthrow, the Biden administration announced that despite the regime change, Washington would still make its military presence felt to ensure a power vacuum was not filled by ISIS. Biden did not mention that Al-Qaeda remnants were also on the target list.

Trump has not articulated a clear position on the new Syrian government, but in February he indicated his preference for a scaled back U.S. military presence in the country. "We're not involved in Syria. Syria is in its own mess. They've got enough messes over there. They don't need us involved," he said in January. He has spoken publicly about targeting ISIS in Somalia but said little about his administration’s attacks on the group or other militant elements in Syria or Iraq, which still hosts forces of 2,000 and 2,500 U.S. troops respectively.

New York Times Interviews Mexican Drug Lords Terrified of Trump’s Cartel Crackdown: ‘The Most Important Thing Now is to Survive’

The government crackdown on organized crime intensified after the Trump administration threatened retribution unless Mexico halted the supply of fentanyl into the United States, vowing high tariffs if the flow of migrants and drugs continued.

President Trump began floating the possibility of tariffs soon after his election in November, and soon after taking office announced 25 percent levies on Mexican goods if the country didn’t act on border security and drug trafficking. The president gave Mexico a month to deliver results, threatening to enact the tariffs on March 4 if he wasn’t satisfied.

Facing economic chaos, the Mexican government went on the offensive. President Claudia Sheinbaum dispatched 10,000 national guard troops to the border and hundreds more soldiers to Sinaloa state, a major hub of fentanyl trafficking where a cartel war has caused turmoil for months.
