Sam Bankman-Fried Gives Tucker Carlson Interview From Prison — He Trashes Joe Biden and Dishes Dirt on Fellow Inmate Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs (VIDEO)

The disgraced crypto fraudster Sam Bankman-Fried has given an exclusive interview to Tucker Carlson from prison.

The 33-year-old, who was sentenced to 25 years in prison after being convicted of fraud and other related crimes, said that he found the experience “kind of dystopian” but insisted he was not in any physical danger.

Carlson asked him whether he had hung out with Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, who is incarcerated at the same facility as he awaits trial on multiple charges of sex trafficking.

‘Have you made friends there?” Carlson asked. “Are you hanging with Diddy? I think he’s in there with you.”

”He is.. he’s been kind,” he responded. “I’ve made some friends; it’s a weird environment.”

Three Trump Policies That Have Americans Rethinking Their Retirement

”It’s a combination of a few other high-profile cases and a lot of alleged ex-gangsters.”

‘I’ve only seen one piece of him, which is Diddy in prison. He’s been kind to people in the unit, he’s been kind to me.”

‘It’s kind of a soul-crushing place for the world in general and what we see are just the people that are around us on the inside rather than who we are on the outside.”

Sam Bankman-Fried is doing 25 years behind bars, and is now sharing a cell block with Diddy. He joins us from prison for an update on his new life.

Bankman-Fried also said that despite donating heavily to Democrats, he was disappointed with Joe Biden’s presidency.

“In 2020, I was center-left and I gave to Biden’s campaign, I was optimistic he would be a center-left president,” he explained.

“I spent the next few years in D.C. a lot. I was really really shocked by what I saw there… and not in a good direction.”

“By late 2022, I was giving to Republicans as much as Democrats.”

Last month, it was reported that Bankman-Fried’s parents were angling for a pardon from President Trump after he granted clemency to the Silk Road founder Ross Ulbricht.

Joseph Bankman and Barbara Fried, who are both Stanford Law School Professors, reportedly held meetings recently with lawyers and those close to Trump.

BREAKING: Obama Judge Rehires Biden-Appointed Labor Board Leader Gwynne Wilcox, Compares Trump to a “Dictator,” Rules Firing Unlawful

Update: Trump filed a notice of appeal.

A federal judge on Thursday reinstated Labor Board leader Gwynne Wilcox and called Trump’s firing a “blatant violation of the law.”

In January President Trump fired Biden-appointed Democrat chair of the National Labor Relations Board Gwynne Wilcox and the general counsel of the board.

Trump’s decision to fire pro-union members Gwynne Wilcox and the labor board’s general counsel Jennifer Abruzzo got pushback from the agency and was described as an “unprecedented and illegal” move.

Gwynne Wilcox vowed to challenge Trump’s decision to fire her. In a previous statement to Reuters, Wilcox said she will pursue “all legal avenues” to challenge Trump’s firing.

If You've Considered Rebalancing Your Portfolio With Gold, This Faith-Driven Company Can Help

On Thursday, US District Judge Beryl Howell, an Obama appointee, ruled Trump’s firing of Gwynne Wilcox was unlawful.

In a shocking 36-page opinion reviewed by The Gateway Pundit, Judge Beryl Howell compared Trump to a “king” or “dictator” and said the president does not have the authority to terminate members of the National Labor Relations Board.

“A President who touts an image of himself as a “king” or a “dictator,” perhaps as his vision of effective leadership, fundamentally misapprehends the role under Article II of the U.S. Constitution. In our constitutional order, the President is tasked to be a conscientious custodian of the law, albeit an energetic one, to take care of effectuating his enumerated duties, including the laws enacted by the Congress and as interpreted by the Judiciary,” the judge wrote in a shocking opinion.

Judge Howell also said that “nothing in the Constitution or the historical development of the removal power has suggested the president’s removal power is absolute.”

“The President does not have the authority to terminate members of the National Labor Relations Board at will, and his attempt to fire plaintiff from her position on the Board was a blatant violation of the law,” Judge Howell wrote.

The Judge ordered Wilcox to be reinstated.

“Plaintiff’s termination from the Board was unlawful, and Mr. Kaplan and his subordinates are ordered to permit plaintiff to carry out all of her duties as a rightful, presidentially-appointed, Senate-confirmed member of the Board,” the judge said.

Just like the Cathy Harris and Hampton Dellinger cases, the judge claimed Wilcox’s job falls under “Humphrey’s Executor.”

“The Supreme Court explicitly upheld removal restrictions for such boards when considering removal protections for the commissioners of the FTC in Humphrey’s Executor in 1935, while also recognizing the President’s general authority over removal of executive branch officials,” Beryl Howell wrote.

“Under our constitutional system, such checks, by design, guard against executive overreach and the risk such overreach would pose of autocracy,” the judge said.

This case will likely head to the US Supreme Court where the justices may overturn Humphrey’s Executor.

Justice Clarence Thomas previously blasted the 1935 decision known as Humphrey’s Executor.

“Humphrey’s Executor poses a direct threat to our constitutional structure and, as a result, the liberty of the American people . . . Our tolerance of independent agencies in Humphrey’s Executor is an unfortunate example of the Court’s failure to apply the Constitution as written. That decision has paved the way for an ever-expanding encroachment on the power of the Executive, contrary to our constitutional design,” Justice Thomas wrote.

JUST IN: Federal Judge Denies USAID Contractors Emergency TRO to Block Trump’s Termination of Their Contracts

A federal judge on Thursday denied a motion for a temporary restraining order (TRO) that would have reinstated fired USAID contractors.

US District Judge Carl Nichols, a Trump appointee, said the contractors failed to prove they would face irreparable harm that would warrant immediate relief.

The judge also said it is a contract dispute.

Judge Nichols has denied USAID contractors an emergency restraining order blocking the mass termination of their contracts, saying they haven't shown the type of "irreparable" harm that warrants relief.

It's essentially a contract dispute, he said in court this AM.

A federal judge on Thursday declined to immediately spare U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) contractors from mass firings, letting move forward a core part of the Trump administration’s effort to dismantle the agency.

U.S. District Judge Carl Nichols said USAID’s personal services contractors failed to prove they face irreparable harm and a likelihood of success on the merits, denying their motion for a temporary restraining order that would have returned fired contractors to employment and allowed them to resume work.

The judge said any harm the contractors face is “directly traceable” to changes the government has made to their contracts, suggesting relief should be sought through a different avenue.

The Personal Services Contractor Association, an advocacy group for U.S. personal services contractors, sued the Trump administration last month to insulate the contractors from efforts to tear down the agency.

In court filings, lawyers for the contractors said notices of contract termination had been distributed to “possibly hundreds” of the roughly 1,110 contractors who work for USAID, some 46 percent of whom work overseas.

Last month, in a separate case involving a union representing USAID contractors, Judge Nichols declined to block the Trump Administration’s move to place thousands of USAID workers on leave.

The restraining order expired on the separate case a couple of weeks ago and the judge declined a request for a preliminary injunction.

Judge Nichols said in a 26-page decision that the plaintiffs (the union that represents the USAID workers) have not demonstrated that further preliminary injunctive relief is warranted.

Based on this record, the Court concludes that the prospect of plaintiffs’ members suffering physical harm from being placed on administrative leave while abroad is highly unlikely. And to the extent that plaintiffs allege that paid administrative leave will harm their members in ways other than via the supposed removal of security protections—such as by tarnishing their members’ reputations or by preventing them from performing their standard duties, those types of standard employment harms “fall[] far short of the type of irreparable injury which is a necessary predicate to the issuance of a [preliminary] injunction,” Judge Nichols wrote.

Thousands of USAID workers will be placed on administrative leave.

White House formally dismisses ‘stupid, moronic statement’ by Democrat Rep. Vindman

Vindman told MSNBC on Thursday that he was "hard-pressed to think of a worse 45 days" in American history than the first six weeks of President Donald Trump's second presidential administration.

The White House on Thursday rebuked an inflammatory comment by Democratic Virginia Rep. Eugene Vindman as a "stupid, moronic statement."

Vindman told MSNBC on Thursday that he was "hard-pressed to think of a worse 45 days" in American history than the first six weeks of President Donald Trump's second presidential administration.

The White House attempted to discredit the statement by highlighting the Trump accomplishments since taking office Jan. 20, including a crack down on illegal immigration and banning males from competing in female sports events.

"What a stupid, moronic statement," the White House said in a press release. "According to Vindman, there is nothing 'worse' than record low illegal border crossings, getting killers and rapists off the streets, freeing American hostages, protecting women and girls, securing '$3 trillion in investments and trade commitments,' saving taxpayers billions of dollars in wasteful spending, pursuing world peace, and capturing terrorists.

"Vindman has a terminal case of Trump Derangement Syndrome — and it shows," the statement also reads.

Vindman's twin brother, Alexander Vindman, as a member of the National Security Council, gave testimony to Congress that contributed to the House's first impeachment of Trump, during his first term as president.

The National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) also slammed Congressman Vindman on Thursday, after he brought a retired federal worker to Trump's Congressional speech on Tuesday night, accusing him of playing political games.

“It is pure political theatre to bring a retired federal employee to President Trump’s speech," NRCC Spokeswoman Maureen O’Toole said in a statement. "The truth is, Democrats are perfectly fine with shutting down the government instead of finding a way to work for all Americans. Will Eugene Vindman stand for American workers or just for more grandstanding?"

NBC announces Tom Llamas will replace Lester Holt as host of 'Nightly News' this summer

Llamas, a senior national correspondent, currently hosts the nightly NBC News NOW program "Top Story with Tom Llamas,” which he will also continue to anchor while hosting his new program.

NBC on Wednesday announced that they have promoted Latino journalist Tom Llamas to anchor the weeknight edition of "NBC Nightly News," after current anchor Lester Holt steps down this summer.

Llamas, a senior national correspondent, currently hosts the nightly NBC News NOW program "Top Story with Tom Llamas,” which he will also continue to anchor while hosting his new program.

The news comes after Holt announced his departure last month, after which he will remain at NBC News but will focus on his show “Dateline." However, his exit from "Nightly News" comes after more than a decade on the show.

“Tom has the winning combination of journalistic excellence, passionate storytelling and unyielding integrity — all characteristics that have long been trademarks of ‘NBC Nightly News,’” NBC News executive vice president of programming Janelle Rodriguez wrote in a message to staff.

Rodriguez also praised Llamas' commitment to helping grow the network's NBC News NOW streaming service, stating that it has helped introduce NBC to a new audience.

Llamas said he was honored to lead the trademark program, and praised Holt's legacy on the show.

“Lester Holt is a great man and one of the most trusted broadcasters of our time,” Llamas said. “Just like Lester, I promise to be devoted to our viewers and dedicated to the truth … I look forward to working with the world class journalists at ‘Nightly News’ and ‘Top Story’ to bring viewers the most important stories every night."
