I don't think we should abolish the IRS. I think we should just change its purpose. Instead of auditing the taxpayers it should be made to audit every elected official on the federal, state and local level. In addition auditing any corporation, organization or institution that receives taxpayer money. They should be working for We The People not the other way around. Also, I believe that the people who hold high offices should have term limits but with very large salaries to prevent them from being corrupted by money. The President of the US makes something around $450K while Congressmen and Senators are around $200K. That is ridiculously low pay for their positions considering what corporate CEO's make along with athletes, actors, singers ect… This is why they are so corruptible. I just saw a defensive lineman for the Cleveland Browns sign a 4 year $40 million contract. I think we could pay the President the same because his job is slightly more important than a guy who tackles another guy 17 Sundays a year. Just an anons opinion.
