Philisophical question, how are we going to ensure long term that this whole drama isnt going to just keep reoccuring until "the good guys" lose? How are going to ensure that humanity has freedom long term and isnt just enslaved in the next iteration of the matrix?
My view is more or less the founding fathers with perhaps some modifications to account for technology and future tech. Decentralization, transparency, full freedom of though, ability to commit war to any oppresive government (ie legal to have the means to do so or at least make it very difficult to control the masses), high scrutity of any mind or will controlling tech and high punishment for any who tried to control other with such tech should do it. Freedom of religion and spiritual belief obviously.
Also, this is the best synthwave mix ever created, there is none better. Q put in your hacker playlist.
lmao either a troll, newfag, or anon forgot how to read filenames
how can you have a land of law without lawyers
deciding who can have kids is a slippery slope
divorce laws yeah more or less except in cases of cruelty
countries idea sounds nice but thats thorny as fuck buddy
same with voting idea, slippery slope
Bullshit. I dont want to save freedom just for it to be taken away 20 years later. Ensuring a good chance of freedom for many many years is part of our mandate.
the public is dumb as fuck and are tasked to use common sense and life experience to render their verdict. The law is incredibily nuanced that like asking a computer programmer to do plumbing or vice versa.
best answer tbh
fair enough but we should be able to tip the odds in freedoms favor a bit by ensuring safeguards as much as possible
I said "do" not "understand", please curb your autism anon
decent concept, but in practice a perma draft in the US wont ever be popular or practical. Maybe if it was a lottery with zero exemptions but again that wouldnt work either. I think basically the founders ideas with a few minor tweaks to account for technology would suffice
just cause he has the 'tism doesnt mean I have to suffer not undertstanding English goddamit
>You implied a programmer wasn't qualified to do plumbing.
Yes.
Its one thing to understand a concept and its another to do it.
Otherwise, have a computer programmer with no experience fix your drain pipes and sewage line and get back to me.
This synthwave aint bad either
