The recent comments/discussions regarding methylene blue prompted Anon to purchase the Sloan book (picrel).

Early in the book it discusses Nitric Oxide (NO) in detail.

In short, Sloan suggests that adding any additional NO to one's supplementation/meds is not desired due to NO being a free radical (among other reasons).

Anon has been supplementing with Niacin @ 500mg/day and Niacin makes excess NO

Herein lies Anon's question:

Based on the other benefits of Niacin, should I continue with the Niacin suplementation?

Any medfags care to weigh in?

>Why are we being urged to take meth blue and turmeric.

Spouse (nurse) suggested the Turmeric for the following:

anti-inflammatory, anticancer, antidiabetic, antimicrobial, antiviral, and antioxidant properties.

Regarding the Methylene Blue, Anon saw the recent comments here on Meth Blue and Sloan's book. Bought the book out of curiosity and to research Meth Blue.

Still researching Meth Blue for it's benefits, but have not taken as of yet.

As for Anon's prior question about Niacin & NO, spouse is/was not knowledgeable enough to answer the question.
