President Trump is 100% correct about tariffs, and yes it will be painful to a degree but what is going to offset it is our own manufacturing of steel, copper, aluminum, and rare earth minerals. This is exactly how China beat us, plus many US companies gave away our trade secrets that gave America our big advantages over other economies, such as manufacturing processes, 6 DOF robotic arms, and shared our IT technology all for short term profit gains over our sovereignty. We were cut up like a cow, and shared among their community leaving us bone dry with basically no jobs.
