International Law’s Fight for Relevance

International law is fighting for relevance. The outcome of this fight is likely to change the entire global political dynamic, which was shaped by World War II and sustained through the selective interpretation of the law by dominant countries.

In principle, international law should have always been relevant, if not paramount, in governing the relationships among all countries, large and small, to resolve conflicts before they turn into outright wars. It should also have worked to prevent a return to an era of exploitation that allowed Western colonialism to practically enslave the Global South for hundreds of years.

Unfortunately, international law, which was in theory supposed to reflect global consensus, was hardly dedicated to peace or genuinely invested in the decolonization of the South.

From the invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan to the war on Libya and numerous other examples, past and present, the U.N. was often used as a platform for the strong to impose their will on the weak. And whenever smaller countries collectively fought back, as the U.N. General Assembly often does, those with veto power, military and economic leverage used their advantage to coerce the rest based on the maxim, “might makes right.”

It should therefore hardly be a surprise to see many intellectuals and politicians in the Global South arguing that, aside from paying lip service to peace, human rights and justice, international law has always been irrelevant.

This irrelevance was put on full display through 15 months of a relentless Israeli genocidal war on Gaza that killed and wounded over 160,000 people, a number that, according to several credible medical journals and studies, is expected to dramatically rise.

Yet, when the International Court of Justice (ICJ) opened an investigation of plausible genocide in Gaza on Jan. 26, 2024, followed by a decisive ruling later that year on July 19 regarding the illegality of the Israeli occupation of Palestine, the international system began showing a pulse, however faint.

The International Criminal Court’s (ICC) arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for crimes against humanity and war crimes were another proof that West-centered legal institutions are capable of change.

Dow Falls 890 Points, Tech Stocks Plunge Amid Economic Fears

U.S. stock sold off sharply on Monday, with major indexes posting their steepest declines of the year amid growing signs that the economy may be on weaker footing than previously believed.

The S&P 500 dropped 2.69 percent, its worst day in months, while the Nasdaq Composite plunged 4.00 percent, driven by sharp losses in technology stocks. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 890 points, or 2.08 percent, and the Russell 2000, which tracks small-cap stocks, declined 2.38 percent, signaling weakness across the market.

The bond market reflected growing investor caution, with yields on U.S. Treasuries falling as traders moved into safer assets. The 10-year Treasury yield slid 9.19 basis points to 4.226 percent, while the 2-year yield fell 9.8 basis points to 3.904 percent, indicating expectations for slower economic growth. A basis point is a one-hundredth of a percentage point. Bond yields fall when bond prices rise.

Over the weekend, President Donald Trump appeared to acknowledge the possibility of an economic slowdown, telling Fox News that there would be a “period of transition” as his administration implements major policy changes. Meanwhile, Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick pushed back on recession concerns, stating on NBC News, “There’s going to be no recession in America.”

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said in an interview that the “market and the economy have become hooked, become addicted, to excessive government spending, and there’s going to be a detox period.” That is widely being interpreted as a sign that the administration is willing to accept some economic pain and financial market declines as it reforms American economic and trade policy.

While some analysts blamed the downturn in stocks on policy uncertainty or the Trump administration’s tariff plans, there was little in Monday’s sell-off to indicate that as the primary factor. Indeed, the Information Technology sector—which is likely to be little affected by trade policy—led the decline, falling 4.34 percent. Communication Services also dropped 3.54 percent, dragged lower by large-cap internet and media companies.

Musk’s Companies See Flood of Chinese Investors.

Several companies controlled by technology and space exploration mogul Elon Musk have seen an influx of Chinese investors after being tapped as a White House senior advisor and unofficial chief of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). Using complicated financial vehicles to shield their identities, Chinese nationals are alleged to have directed tens of millions of dollars in investments into Musk’s privately held companies, including xAI, Neuralink, and SpaceX.

Called “special-purpose vehicles,” these investment arrangements are intended to hide the investor’s identity. In the case of Musk’s companies, the “special-purpose vehicles” shield Chinese investors from U.S. government scrutiny.

The asset managers advertising the arrangements to Chinese nationals emphasize the lack of investor disclosure as a key selling point. Additionally, the close relationship between Musk and President Donald J. Trump—along with other top U.S. government officials—is being directly pushed as part of the sales pitch.

While the asset managers claim the estimated $30 million in investments are purely profit-driven, the lack of transparency raises ethical and national security concerns, given Musk’s role in the White House. The asset managers advertising the “special-purpose vehicles” insist that the arrangement structure prevents Chinese investors from accessing corporate information available to standard investors. Additionally, they contend the investments are not being used in an effort to influence U.S. government policy toward China.Despite the assertions that the Chinese investors are not looking to use their financial leverage to pressure Musk and influence the U.S. government, the revelation could revive long-standing concerns regarding Musk’s business ties to China and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). The National Pulse has previously reported that several business deals between Musk’s electric vehicle company, Tesla, and Chinese manufacturers have drawn scrutiny from lawmakers on Capitol Hill.

Rothschilds fund both sides of every war

Tucker interviewed Qatar's Foreign Minister and asked why Hamas was headquartered there. Surprisingly, he stated that the US under Obama had made the request and they complied. Thereafter, the sums delivered to Hamas under the guise of Palestine increased dramatically suggesting yet another source of siphoning for individual NGO wealth in the US.

USAID money did not go to Palestinians, it went to 'partner organizations. According to AP, the two senior officials at these 'aid groups' spoke on condition of anonymity because of the political sensitivity of the issue and of their work in Gaza. In other words they don't want to provide access to analyzing the money trail. There are 17 NGO's claiming to provide aid to Gaza.

Example: Multiffaith Alliance is an NGO in New York claiming to assist Gaza. Their partners include NGO's in Israel and Syria. One such partner, Afya Foundation, spent roughly 50% of their contributions on grants - unlisted. The remainder is pocketed as salaries rent and net assets. They partner with Jewish NGO's such as the United Jewish Appeal (The Jewish Federations of North America) - whose entire mission is to help Jews. The Jewish NGO's partner with organizations that have nothing to do with aid. Such as, Sustainable and Green programs in New York via Project Hope.

Catholics Push Back Against Satanic 'Black Mass' at Kansas State Capitol.

Kansas is set to witness a confrontation over a satanic "black mass" planned to take place at the State Capitol in Topeka on March 28. The event, organized by The Satanic Grotto, has stirred opposition from local Catholics and the American Society for the Defense of Tradition, Family, and Property (TFP), a national Catholic group.

Radioactive secrets. Fight to hide AUKUS nuclear waste sites gets absurd

Where to store nuclear waste from AUKUS submarines is a decision which will impact us for millennia, but they are going to extraordinary lengths to hide it from the public.

Somewhere deep inside a locked government filing cabinet within Australia’s labyrinthine Defence bureaucracy, there’s a document intended to advise the Government on what locations in Australia might be suitable to store high-level nuclear waste and how to select one of those locations.

It’s a roadmap to where the most toxic material on our planet may be dumped for tens of thousands of years. The report itself is just paper, but it’s red hot. It’s politically radioactive.

The document in question is the result of a $360,000 February 2023 contract to a company called SG Advice. The principal of SG Advice was tasked with coordinating the Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation, the Australian Radioactive Waste Agency, the Australian Submarine Agency, Defence, and Geoscience Australia to produce a “significant piece of policy advice” for the government.

The government doesn’t want the public to see it – it’s just too controversial. All the more reason then for me to seek access to it using our Freedom of Information laws.

A Cabinet document

When I requested the report, the newly minted Submarine Agency told me I couldn’t have it because it was a cabinet document. But when I thought about the nature and purpose of the report, this didn’t make sense.

The Cabinet Handbook, the authoritative rules governing all matters relating to Cabinet, states that “… Cabinet documents are … not the property of … [the] department. Access to them by succeeding governments is not granted …”

If this ‘significant piece of policy work’ dealing with the problem of high-level nuclear waste in a multi-decade program was a Cabinet document, it would only be available to the Department for the period that the Albanese Government was in power. If there was a change of Government, the work that was done would go into the archives and would not be available for reference by future governments, at least not for 20 years. So, the nuclear waste planning would have to be revisited from scratch.

But the Submarine Agency went to the Administrative Review Tribunal with its taxpayer funded lawyers to argue that the report was a Cabinet document and consequently must remain secret.

Supreme Court Asked to Review California’s Retaliation against Judicial Watch Over YouTube Election Integrity Video

Judicial Watch announced today that it filed a petition for a writ of certiorari in the United States Supreme Court concerning a Judicial Watch lawsuit asserting that the California Secretary of State retaliated against Judicial Watch because of an accurate election integrity video posted to YouTube just before the 2020 Election (Judicial Watch, Inc. v. Shirley Weber, in her official capacity as Secretary of State of the State of California (No. 2:22-cv-06894)). The California Secretary of State used its well-established working relationship with Big Tech to have YouTube remove and censor Judicial Watch’s video.

Judicial Watch filed the lawsuit in September 2022.

On September 22, 2020, Judicial Watch posted on its YouTube channel a video titled “ELECTION INTEGRITY CRISIS Dirty Voter Rolls, Ballot Harvesting & Mail-in-Voting Risks!” The 26-minute video featured Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton discussing the vote-by-mail processes, changes to states’ election procedures, ballot collection (sometimes referred to as “ballot harvesting”), and states’ failures to clean up their voter rolls, among other topics.

Fitton’s comments were informed by successful lawsuits brought by Judicial Watch against Los Angeles County and Weber in 2017 to compel the county and State to comply with the National Voter Registration Act’s (NVRA) voter list maintenance requirements. For instance, in June 2019, Judicial Watch was informed that Los Angeles County had sent notices to 1.6 million inactive voters on its voter rolls after a settlement agreement had been reached.

Judicial Watch uncovered that the California Secretary of State monitored Judicial Watch’s videos for months leading up to the 2020 election with the help of a public relations firm closely connected to the Biden presidential campaign.

Contrary to 11 other appellate circuit courts in the country, the Ninth Circuit has made it more difficult for citizens and groups trying to hold government agencies responsible for retaliating against those citizens or groups for First Amendment-protected speech:

Until this case, every regional circuit had held that an adverse action in the First Amendment retaliation context is one that would chill a person of ordinary firmness from continuing to engage in protected activity. The Ninth Circuit strayed from its sister circuits, excising the “chilling effect” inquiry from the universally accepted standard. It ruled that the Secretary’s course of action was not adverse, and therefore not actionable, without defining “adverse action” or analyzing whether her course of action would chill a person of ordinary firmness.

Gab Community,

I want to share with you a letter we received from an organization called Fighting Online Antisemitism (FOA). This Israel-based group has informed us of their intention to publish a report about alleged "antisemitic content" on Gab. In their letter, they have the audacity to demand that we work with them to censor speech they deem unacceptable just as they are about to publish a report smearing our community.

Let me be clear: Jews and the foreign nation state of Israel are not immune to criticism, mockery, or scorn. Every other group of peeople on this planet faces the realities of being offended, and they can too. There are plenty of posts on the internet, even on my own website, that I find highly offensive as a Christian–but I do what any grown adult man would do: keep scrolling or use the block button when necessary. I don't need some foreign special interest group dictating what I see online.

Gab is the only platform that doesn't fall for these tricks and demands for censorship, especially not from foreigners. We could not stand strong against such pressure without the unwavering support from our community. As we continue our mission to defend free speech online from all threats, both foreign and domestic, I ask you to consider upgrading to GabPRO or making a donation to support our cause.

In summary, the letter from FOA states:

They are preparing to publish a report about "antisemitic content" on Gab.

They demand collaboration to combat "antisemitism" on our platform.

They want to establish "clear community guidelines" that allow for the moderation of "extremist content" and "harmful incitement."

Prior to the publication of their report, they invite us to join their fight against "online antisemitism."

Our response to them was a simple two word email: "Get bent."

Gab will not bend to the demands of foreign actors seeking to undermine our commitment to free speech. We will continue to provide a platform where everyone's voice can be heard, regardless of their beliefs or opinions. Thank you for your continued support in our fight for free speech online.

Who paid a crime syndicate to do this?

Why hasn't the crime syndicate been named?

“Almost immediately, experienced investigators … believed that the caravan was part of a fabricated terrorism plot, essentially a criminal con job.”

“The caravan was never going to cause a mass casualty event but instead was concocted by criminals who wanted to cause fear for personal benefit,” said Krissy Barrett, the Australian Federal Police’s Deputy Commissioner for National Security.
