makes sense it was only partway through, as it would have set a standard which would have brought on the fear of "special treatment" having to be used……shameful really the person you speak of didn't flex the situation a bit. If he was like me, I can guarantee you he not only would have made it through it all, but he would have done so and came out on TOP of the normal enlistees…..already been there and done that with the world…in fact, the world itself is fucking afraid of those they term "disabled"

Shameful. Perhaps I'll tell ya a story sometime when all this shit is over anon. And I am sure you would have stories for me. Hang in there.

I agree, that is spectacular news. I am deaf-deaf kek. Been so decades. They had no choice but to give me my license as I was a better driver than their other students prepping for it KEK…Fact of the matter is simply this..

When you lose a sense, your brain loses the capacity to utilize auditory input, but generates the ability to fine tune all other senses. I'll go out on a limb here and add that I speak of more than the normal 5. I see everything and before anyone else does because I control my surroundings by controlling where I am positioned. It isn't rocket science. The best listeners are deaf for fucks sakes. The amount of detail they have to collect for proper following of conversation and/or participation in coordinated efforts is astounding to say the least. Hell, my abilities are directly why I was shown the boards in the beginning.

I was actually driving just the other day and proceeded to pull over because an ambulance was coming a bit over a quarter mile or so behind me and my brother asked what the hell I was doing as he didn't hear the sirens kek.
