It is supposed to be printed by us and congress controls the purse strings. I believe in 1991 or 1993, they voted on a bill they gave full control to the. FED. Going outside the constitution and allowing the FED to usurp their power.

Oh, I know all about that, but I believe the FED was in fear that the powers they had could be removed too easily by congress. Remember when Bernanke was being questioned by congress? With the power they have now, he basically was able to tell them to get bent. Prior to 1991 or 1993 they may not have been so readily able to do that.

Wanna really fuck with the FED? Start charging them 2% interest on all monies borrowed from the treasury. That interest can go directly to the debt. Open a currency holding facility to each person with a social security number. You can perform simple bank transactions but you can not get a loan or go negative on your account. The banks would have to start paying a decent interest rate for people that want an interest accumulating savings and of course they would be the ones to get loans from. And then you could end the FDIC, because the nation has a safe space for people to save, albeit interest free but safe.
